  ok so at the very, very beginning, joel comes home from work and his preteen daughter, sarah, a blonde girl with a texas accent, gifts him a wristwatch.

  she is then awoken by the commotion of the outbreak and you play as her and essentially walk downstairs where joel comes in through the glass door and gets his revolver. from there you drive to the city where there is a car crash and then sarah is shot and dies in joel’s arms.

  when he wakes up several years later from a nightmare on the couch, you can see that he is still wearing the watch sarah gave him but the crystal is smashed and it doesnt work. through the game, the watch is shown from time to time representing the trauma of losing sarah and the transference of his feelings from sarah to ellie. at the hospital he calls ellie “baby girl” which is what he called sarah while she was dying in his arms. its kinda the driver of the plot

  yeah im pretty addicted. I like the caffiene and the fizziness. for a few months I switched to coffee but its not fizzy and way harder to port around.

  I was chewing those bandit things in the 90s. theres been a resurgence yes… specifically the non tobacco ones that are some kind of biomass with nicotine sprayed on it. the bioavailability of those ones is nutzo compared to natural tobacco. they hit you all at once. less/no cancer risk though

  thats insanity. you throw a whole spam into a frying pan and then slice/poke at it with a spatula? the pieces would be completely uneven and thus would cook unevenly. have some self respect and take the rectangle and put it on a cutting board and meticulously slice perfectly even and equal lengthwise slices with the precision and poise of a 25 year old japanese sushi shef working in a two star michelin restaurant who still hates himself for overcooking a single appetizer three years ago
