Grass was ok this morning, ok when the kids came into just before lunch, but after lunch, someone did this. I’m not pointing fingers but we only has an Amazon guy come to our porch.

Crazy paranoid delusion
Lol that was not the Amazon guy. That was probably a cat that decided your planters were as good a port-a-potty as they were going to get in the moment.
It’s definitely not a boot print… walking on grass doesn’t just instantly turn the spot you walked on brown, and the grass isn’t crushed or snapped, it’s laying down more (because it’s brown).
I totally get being upset about the planters as I’ve had plants ruined as well. But even if a random, underpaid, overworked delivery driver decided to take the time out of their day to potentially get fired to accomplish…???.. what good is fuming over it and spending energy being mad at them going to do? If a person did this, that’s what they want you to do.
Depending on the age, if you tell a bunch of kids an Amazon delivery guy ruined their project, a quarter of them will subconsciously dislike delivery drivers and a quarter of them will think it’s funny and get the idea to do it themselves in the future. Tell the kids your project had an uh oh but you fed nature and that’s why we’re growing things in the first place, lesson learned.
that’s not a boot print, you’re seeing what you expect to see…
pretty much: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia
just think about it logically….
a. amazon guy tore up your grass planters for no reason even though most houses have security cameras now….
or b. some animal did it
It’s not clear at all from that pic that there’s a boot print in the planter. I see several small holes in the second planter that looks like squirrel digging.
Nah that was an animal
I’m gonna say a squirrel or cat or something too. It’s far more likely than an Amazon guy, who has a fully packed delivery schedule, taking time out of his day to mess with your grass for some reason.
And I don’t think that’s a boot print. I don’t see any crushed or bent grass.
squirrels do that all the time with my planters.
more like “mildly paranoid”
Animal did it.
Rabbits, I assume? Could be cats, too.
(And you can edit the title to correct the glass / grass thing).
Are you sure that’s what it is? Can you outline it?
I’m sorry that happened. ☹️ Even if it was a human, don’t let one asshole win. I recommend you shrug and re-do it…

I’m guessing you don’t have chickens (who could totally make that mess) but birds of all sizes also dig and kick with their feet and claws in search of seeds or invertebrates.
