I don't understand physics so this is credible to me
what I want to know is where do all these stock photos and movies and tv shows get those awesome sharpies that allow you write on windows so crisply? whenever i write on a window with a sharp it always looks like shit.
I want satisfying movie sharpies.
We used regular whiteboard markers at my previous job. Worked perfectly for that
You want paint pens, not sharpies
Also, they work great only when they’re new.
My brother in law made a lighted glass board during covid so he could write in mid-air while facing the camera at the same time. He used light-colored whiteboard pens and a dark background.
All that’s missing was to write in reverse because the camera was on the other side!

I really don’t get why there’s never any effort when doing l this kind of “stock art” math/science.
So many fake chemicals, so many equations that are completely meaningless… all of those t-shirts that say “what part of [UNINTELLIGIBLE SCRIBBLING] do you not understand?”
Is it really that much effort to crack open a linear algebra textbook or look at an actual equation sheet? I always feel sniped by that shit, I tried to read it and figure out what it is but it’s always just a mix of completely random stuff, with half of it truncated to the point of meaninglessness.

You certainly know it, but sharing it for the ones who don’t:
The full equation is
E² = (pc)² + (m₀c²)²where E, p, c, m₀ are respectively: energy, momentum, the speed of light, inertial mass. The(pc)²part is kind of a big deal, because otherwise massless particles (like photons) would have no energy.If p = 0, then the equation simplifies into that famous E=mc².

What I think is funny is that if you assumed E=mc^2 for all particles, then that would mean that red light is lighter than blue light.

Einstein initially did write:

which got re-arranged to E=mc^2. Although he was aware that this doesn’t apply to systems in motion or mass-less particles such as photons.
