I feel like the fur is the only thing I get from my cats in return for the constant feeding, vet bills, destroyed furniture, disturbed sleep, mucking out, etc etc.

save it up and you can spin it into yarn. great for making mittens, hats, scarfs and baby sweaters.

Well get a cat with fur next time like a normal person.
I’m being flippant, I don’t really have anything against sphinx cats. I don’t really want to own one because my furry cat is enough of a struggle to keep warm, but I would like to meet a sphinx some day.

Sphinx cats are also notorious for skin conditions, making them high maintenance in terms of vet visits, sadly.
But yeah, it would be cool to meet one in person.

I’m used to taking care of a cat with fur. Izzy gets weekly brushings to help reduce hairballs and otherwise she does a good job washing herself.
