they are nice movies 😊
Goodnight everyone, I’m tired as. Gonna do my usual and fall asleep now and wake up in the early hours…
not too warm here, brr
Taking my books back to the library. I may spend the afternoon reading on the sofa
That sounds like a perfect rainy afternoon!
I watch and read a lot of essays and pods and stuff about movie and tv and one thing I notice is that writers like to effusively write about all the influences and all the references to other works, books and movies and art, in a movie or show.
I would love to sit and discuss with an average real person who doesn’t make tv or movies and we can find all the artistic references they have spoken or written that day in the course of their everyday life.
because art is every where and in everyone’s everyday lives, they just forgot
The tissue box next to me has a printed marble pattern on it. Marble has been used to beautify objects and spaces for thousands of years. It’s expensive so it’s used by the wealthy and thus associated with luxury. The echos of that art have traversed thousands of years to be printed on a tissue box.
Had ticket inspectors on the tram do our tickets, get off at Anzac station, then a new crew of em got on at the next stop 🤣 be careful on st Kilda Rd today guys!

I’m so tired. Baby is still crying at night. I’ve ordered some more d mannose in the hope it might flush out her little bladder.
I bought a cheap blush stick but the ‘nude’ shade is straight up orange. The concealers are also overly light. I have no intention of reliving 2000s makeup trends so guess people just have to put up with my eye bags and pallor.
Maybe it’ll scare idiots away.
Ps. There’s apparently a high tide warning for Melbourne this morning so people in places like Port Phillip or coastal might want to be careful

is it possible it’s not physical distress, but Cat Things? Misha went nuts last night, the weather had her all hepped up and then she wandered around the house loudly voicing her dissatisfaction for a couple hours. Unfortunately she uses the same call for genuine distress, tantrums and boredom

I agree. Windy weather like drives cats crazy. It’s all the movement of leaves and all the odd noises.

No, this is extremely out of character for her and been going for at least a week or two. She’s a very quiet stoic cat who barely ever made a squeak.

My Pepper was especially spicy last night too. Took it out on the other cats.
