I made an executive decision to not watch TLOU S2. For obvious reasons.

After work I’ll be watching the first episode of the new season “You”. Finished “The day if the Jackal” couple of days ago.

Loads of people raved about day of the jackal, what did you think?

Quick summary because I’m at work; I found it a very good show.
- Decent/ good story.
- Good action.
- Good acting (both the guy from Fantastic beast and the woman from LaCasaDePapel).
- It did not overstay, the episodes were just about right for the show.

My wife and I always rewatch Taskmaster before a new series starts. Series 19 (finally) starts May 1, we’re currently up to Series 3.

I’ve been watching Blue Lock and really enjoying it so far. I usually watch more fantastical anime like JJK, stuff that involves magic or superpowers. This is the first one I’ve watched where the show isn’t based in anything superhuman, but it’s kind of presented that way. Like eyes flash or players get an aura when they’re in the zone, and it really works. Also some genuinely surprising plot development.
I’m over halfway through the latest season of Fargo. This one is a bit more on the nose with its commentary than previous seasons but it’s still better than most TV. Jon Hamm is just sinister in this.
Just started the latest season of The Righteous Gemstones. I love this show because I came out of a conservative Christian household so all the observations about the hypocrisy of megachurch culture ring especially true for me.

Righteous gemstones is on my list! What’s it like? Just want to manage my expectations

Oh man. Perfectly skewers megachurch culture. Outrageous, over the top characters. Can be surprisingly heartfelt at times but also random dick shots that give you no warning whatsoever. It has a very Danny McBride feel, so if you like his other stuff you’ll like this.

I’m 1 episode shy of finishing Frieren, I’m really enjoying it, and I’m somewhere around like %80-90 done with Dragon Ball Super. They’re both good, but I’m binging DBS just to get it done with for the first time. It’s not the more magical anime that I like these days, like Frieren or isekei stuff are.

Yep that’s why I’m not watching TLOU S2. It’s not for me, I loved S1 too much

I just finished S2 of TWD Daryl Dixon which was ok but forgettable. I’m now watching The Penguin which I’m enjoying but isn’t life changing. Next is Righteous Gemstones

All caught up with the latest season of Ghosts (US version). Another 3 episodes to go including one tomorrow. I definitely hate the weekly format more when the episode is only 20 minutes long excluding ad breaks. Spoiler in case anyone plans to watch:

I LOVE the new ghost, she’s awesome. But I’m guessing this means that someone is getting sucked off at the end of the season and leaving the show.
Also, wouldn’t mind checking out the UK version of this show, I just don’t know how close the stories are and don’t want spoilers.
