I’ve noticed the whole system has crashed over the years. I’ve been a ‘loyal’/repeated customer since 2006, (even working there for a year or two after college), at or over 20 years now, and can’t believe how much more spending is required to get a free drink. Hell, they used to have buy-1, get-1 receipts a few times a year, for a full week at a time.
I think this’ll end up being the end of it, for me. I already moved to making TAZO chais in the office, instead of purchasing their chai lattes.

I use ‘self starter’ at work to describe someone that I don’t have to manage and will figure out what they need to do to manage their own project without me holding their hands.
I provide my own continuity binder and am there to answer any questions once we’re done with a brief left seat/right seat… but, I need someone who is capable of handling themselves instead of me being their parent.
What’s a better word than ‘self starter’ if people see that negatively?

Remember, the capitalization of recourses like this is a planned attack against the lower, middle, working class from uniting against the elite and capitalistic agenda. Reddit was a sharing of knowledge, and the control of knowledge, to the elite, should be solely within their control, and the sharing of knowledge the to aforementioned working class groups is a direct assault on their power.
That’s why they bought Reddit out and sunk it.
It’s not just ‘Fuck Spez!’, sure he caved and monetized Reddit, but his actions were just a symptom of the wider issue; capitalism is another tool designed by the elite to subjugate the working class.
