At one point, a huge chunk of Scots Wikipedia was written by an American teenager who did not know Scots.

When I learned about this it was the funniest thing I had heard. Like rolled around and nearly wet myself funny.
Nobody else has shared the humour with me and I have told lots of people.
Sorry for linking to that site, but this is where I learned about it, and Reddit is pivotal to the discovery

There should be a collaborative worldbuilding project in a wiki format.
Kinda like SCP but writing about all aspects of the world.

I could see this kind of idea being wildly popular for ttrpg dungeon masters. If you know anybody who owns multiple 20 sided die there’s a good chance they’ve done some amout of fantasy world building before

Collaborative world building often falls apart. It needs a full time coordinator, or it’s like herding cats.

My friends invented band members for the band 69boys. “Quick Skeet” Fisher, Reginald “Busta Nut” Gunderson. They are not real… well they used to not be real. I think Gunderson started to do interviews.

And it’s not even the fifth weirdest thing you’ll see on the internet today.
