  TIL the song N.I.B. by Black Sabbath is titled that because of Bill Ward’s goatee, which the band members thought was shaped like a pen nib.

  Playing so much Plague Inc Evolved over these last two days. Probably anxiety over the likely bird flu outbreak. Blah.

  Its fun though. The big issue is that the simulation is so consistent that there’s basically one strategy that’ll usually always work

  I let Jason loose on the hallway and laundry today. I think I want to install some kind of holder thing in the laundry so that I have somewhere to put mops and brooms that isn’t the floor, and maybe a shelf or something for replacement mop heads (there’s no real storage in or near the laundry)

  I can probably work out the broom mounts myself. Just a couple of screws into the stud seems easy enough. Not sure about the shelf though. In the meantime I’ll just relocate an old bookshelf or something

    You can thaw it in the microwave. You just have to lower the wattage/use a defrost setting and then cook it thoroughly right away
