I know thats you Sean, trying to get out of interviewing crappy celebs.
If Sean Evans from Hot Ones wound up with an ulcer could he claim a workplace injury?

The man takes the least popular of a group of people that absolutely adore talking about themselves generally and makes them interesting enough that not only will I actually watch any of it, I’ll watch the whole thing having never heard of the person.
I’ll take him interviewing a nobody is there any late night host interviewing anyone I have actually heard of. The longest
So long as he doesn’t catch whatever TV host disease that gives them hosts that worse-than-sitcom-laugh… I’d rather listen to an orgy of deaf zoo animals.

I think he has incredible interviewing skill. The guests are often not very interesting though, although they sometimes have absolute gems. The one that surprised me the most was Naomi Campbell. That woman is way smarter than I ever would’ve guessed.

That’s what you said when I asked you if you’d enjoy going to listen to The Beatles live in their heyday. I’m beginning to think that’s just what you’re into.

If he's a producer on the show (which if not originally, I'm positive by now he is), he'd be suing himself

Not for the ulcer itself but possibly for any distress caused between the time the ulcer appears and when he realized it due to one upping the idea of rubbing salt in a wound.

They are caused by bacterial infection and not stress or capsaicin, so I sure hope he could claim an injury if their cooks are contaminating food lol

My understanding is that you are correct in saying the right cause of the condition, but I’m pretty sure the theory of stress contributing to how large they get/how long healing takes is still generally accepted. Capsaicin causing a physical stress response of course, unless you also have nightmares about it or something

Stress lowers your immune response (as does smoking, which many people do to combat stress). Any natural healing process will go faster if you cut out stress factors. The stress itself can’t cause the ulcers to appear on their own.
It’s also possible to get ulcers from certain medication (including over the counter painkillers) so if the cooks are lacing the food with medication they could still cause them, I suppose…
