Just had a company meeting about raises. I donât quality because I just started, but they gave everyone:
2%. You should have seen everyoneâs face. The mood in the meeting plummeted instantly.
Iâm expecting some resignations in the next few weeks.

Thatâs barely covers inflation these days. It just make sure youâre taking home the same realised income as the year before

The only way to get a pay rise these days is jump ship, it seems. Unfortunately

100%. Thatâs worked for me whilst Iâve been in corporate.

Thatâs how it has become these days. Companies donât invest in their people like they used to, so you have to become the master of your own career

Iâm here for 12 months to up skill. If I get a real promotion and itâs equivalent pay rise, cool. If not, other plans will come into play.

Wow! And I used to get upset about my 5% yearly raise at my last job.
Pilk@aussie.zone â¨4⊠â¨weeks⊠ago
We love an effective pay cut
Gibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zone â¨4⊠â¨weeks⊠ago
Exactly. Iâm staying for 12 months and grabbing the certs I need then Iâm out.
