That’s why you add enough bread or saltine crackers to make it thick enough to eat with a spork.

I don’t care for soup. It’s like food but with too much water.
It’s like tea, but tomato flavor.

Aahh, the old cracker porridge. Fewer lumps than regular porridge.

Yah, I’m not a soup fan either. I’ll eat it, but as a last choice. Or if I am ill.
One holiday many years ago, I showed up for a quality holiday meal and the hostess served cold gazpacho. Worst holiday meal ever. Would not eat again.

I did tru a cold avocado soup once, it was OK. I like avocados.
When I lived near San Diego, my brother worked for an avocado packing plant (Colavo?). He would bring home a BOX of overripe avocados that were too far gone to go to market. We had to eat them NOW!

Tomato soup is good, but have you heard the good news of creamy potato soup?
ZeroCool@piefed.ca 1 day ago
That’s an unfair generalization. Sometimes it’s clam flavored.

Clamato???
Who thought “this tomato juice is alright but a little fish taste would really set it off”?
Proprietary_Blend@lemmy.world 1 day ago
Try mixing it with Budweiser

Or vodka. Really the US are the weird ones for not having popular alcoholic clamato cocktails

I was actually thinking of Manhattan clam chowder but let’s be real, it’s close enough.
