  I’d go to a different doctor. If that’s not an option, I’d probably say something along these lines.

  I don’t want to experiment with woo bullshit. I want real mental health support. The fact that you’re directing me towards pseudoscientific treatment in lieu of real medicine tells me that you aren’t interested in my health.

  Therapy is amazing, it’s well worth it, but a lot of insurance covers it. States usually have some sort of program where you can receive services at no cost too, check with your state
