I mean if it’s a short term thing I suppose you could have them drink a bunch of it and then puke it up at your destination. I’ve done that as a kid after drinking a bunch of milk and then going running around in the hot sun.

That requires some form of acid.
It’s most likely that stomachs were used to transport milk, and gave rennet from that source.
