  Cheese requires some stomach enzymes or something like that, making it wildly unlikely the first cheese was human derived.

      That requires some form of acid.

      It’s most likely that stomachs were used to transport milk, and gave rennet from that source.

      They put the milk in animal stomachs because they’re fairly easy to make watertight.

    100% this, but animal stomach and not bladders. Because stomached contain rennet which are the enzymes that are used to make cheese. Cheese is not made with yeast. It very certainly is not related to a woman with a yeast infection …
