The hidden blocklist was a shitty thing to do. But the final DDOS was just fucking immature and petty. Any high ground he could have possibly claimed was just completely nullified with that move.
I understood the sentiment of wanting to remove drama. But you idea of drama is not everyone’s idea of drama. Had he made it a feature, documented what it was, who was on it, and why he thought that, it might have been a blip. But the whole way it was handled just screamed fascist to me. Oh well… bye Felicia.

He lied about everything else, so his claim of death threats is likely more manipulative bullshit.

Sorry, but despite how despicable his actions were, that’s definitely 1 thing I can believe

Well he’s one of those who gets butt hurt when someone write “Death to Zionists” and immediately goes “is this an attack direct at me?”

“Death to Genociders”
“That’s targeting me! We need to ban those people!!”
Hit dogs howl. And that dog heard a whistle and went straight into “following orders”.

Are you saying he wouldn’t have gotten any direct death threats during this whole ordeal, from anyone?

I mean, the internet is the internet. I don’t doubt there could be some death threats, but I also doubt most folk here would send them. Like, a lot of us have lives
RedAggroBest@lemmy.world 3 days ago
This is the important word here, since it really only takes one or two people sending them for someone to say they’ve received death threats.
