      I mean, the internet is the internet. I don’t doubt there could be some death threats, but I also doubt most folk here would send them. Like, a lot of us have lives

  The hidden blocklist was a shitty thing to do. But the final DDOS was just fucking immature and petty. Any high ground he could have possibly claimed was just completely nullified with that move.

  I understood the sentiment of wanting to remove drama. But you idea of drama is not everyone’s idea of drama. Had he made it a feature, documented what it was, who was on it, and why he thought that, it might have been a blip. But the whole way it was handled just screamed fascist to me. Oh well… bye Felicia.

    In an environment with repeated interactions, the winning strategy in game theory has always been a tit for tat strategy.

    “When they go low, we go high” is just virtue based jerking off.

    While this person hilariously failed at what they were trying to do, it still doesn’t make what they were trying to do any less nefarious. Them getting bullied and laughed off this community is funny and also necessary to ensure that such actors don’t rise without fear of consequence.

      If I recall, it’s actually tit-for-tat with occasional forgiveness. Two tit-for-tats can get stuck in an endless back-and-forth.

      Regardless, I love that you brought that up; it’s one of my favorite game theory lessons.
