I shave for other people. If no one was gonna suck my dick, then I would never shave - why go to the trouble, after all? But most people don’t like hair getting stuck in their throat, so I shave. Because I care about my partners’ experience.
Comment on she’s really honest indeed💖

Extremely controversial take, I’m sure: you don’t shave for other people. You shave for yourself.

I had a girlfriend who said she doesn’t like it that I trim my stuff short and I had to break it to her that I understand her preference but I do it for my own preference. I wouldn’t expect her to cut her hair or paint her nails a particular way to suit me.

I mean, sure, but that’s mostly because I’ve gotten absolutely no feedback

The only part of my hair grooming that is “for myself” is trimming my mustache so food does not get caught in it.
Everything else is is for looks and other people look at me much more often than I look at myself. Even when I see myself in a mirror, I try to see myself as others would see me. My wife is the person that looks at me the most and is the person whose opinion is most important to me, so I ask for her opinion about how I groom myself.

Yep. You do you first and foremost. Then deal with the haters. I like my arms and legs trimmed down to 1/8". I also like my balls smooth. I can compromise and leave some bush up top if that’s what my partner wants (though now that my wife is dead no one else to comment I guess) but the others are not really up for debate.
I also agree with that other guy that trimming your armpits goes a long way to helping look clean and not being overly sweaty. But a solid no to shaving them smooth. So uncomfortable and problematic when it starts to grow back.
