When asked if you travel you mention they’re clear… on the other side of your city. I guess that’s a no. Being 50+, I’d suggest seeing some of the world (or at least some other cities in your own country) before the end. Live a little.

lastlybutfirstly@lemmy.world 10 hours agoI live in a big city. Walmarts everywhere. But for whatever reason Costcos were only built on the other side of town. Same with Ikea and Five Guys. I’ve never been to those. They’re here but it’d be going way out of my way to hunt these places down.

If I understand you correctly, I’ve seen Costco in Idiocracy and on the internet and have looked at them via Google Street view. But I’ve never seen one with my own eyes.

Where do you live? The nearest one to me is 10 miles away. Within that radius there’s like at least a dozen Walmart one of which is within walking distance.
