Who are you that you can control the flow? It’s either on or off. And if you turn it on then forcibly off it’s incredibly painful.
Comment on Is there an optimal angle when using a urinal?

Stop using urinals. Just wait for a stall to free up.
If you want the correct answer, don’t pee so hard. Control the flow do it’s soft and doesn’t splash.

I can either push it out hard or I can hold it back and let it dribble. IDK. Just use your dick muscle.

Squeezing? Maybe? I’m old enough that I’m not going to do anything to restrict the flow that my prostate isn’t already doing lol

Try going to the bathroom before you’re at the point where your bladder feels like it’s going to explode!

I do? Like quite often. But when i go, it’s like untying a balloon. You ain’t tying it again until it’s empty. Or not inflated anymore at minimum.

Urinals use significantly less water than toilets, fyi
bluGill@fedia.io 3 weeks ago
Usually but I've seen exceptions. Modern low flush toilets beat the legal and thus common regular flush.

Even low flush toilets use more water than modern urinals though. Some modern urinals use no water at all

just use the bushes
SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 3 weeks ago
that’s because toilets are data centers.

The water has to do with using less water being better for the environment

Its all about the angles. You want the stream to hit parallel to the surface not perpendicular.
