  Definitely not, it’s bad for the most vulnerable portion of society to not have access to money. You can’t pay rent or a doctor with corn and beans.

    You can pay for prostitutes, which means the situation is dire. Doctors can probably be bargained with in this scenario if you have the beans to pay.

        i have three pieces of lint and a button that does not match. anything. i think a witch cursed it.

        can i purchase a couple knowing looks, two nods and a hmmmyes with that or do i need more? i have three buckets of lymph i can also trade (hardly any of it is mine) in the garage but i was saving that

      Doctors can probably be bargained with in this scenario if you have the beans to pay.

      I’m old enough to remember a republican Senate candidate getting dragged for suggesting this as an alternative to the ACA.

    You can. People used to pay in cigarettes, too.

    The worth of food being high enough for this to be plausible, that’s the issue. Also food has a very stable value.
