Yeah, but the aesthetics though 👌👌👌. I remember watching Watchmen at the theater and thinking these scenes are straight out of the comic panel. Love both of them.

Funny enough, the movie has a better fitting ending while the comic has better story pacing.
I hated the movie ending which is why I know it was so good. It ended in a way that was unsatisfying to me and I feel like that’s important to the story.
That’s both hilarious and completely understandable.
Which part do you fall asleep at?
I’d suggest watching the hbo series then going back and watching the movie.
Why?
Oh, I just really liked the hbo series that when I went back to watch the movie I was able to pay attention.

The graphic novel was revolutionary when it came out in the late 80s. For a comic book it’s still extremely good, if you like character-based stories.

Some stories are about the interplay of characters, others are about a theme or an event. All the things exist in every story, but what the story is written with focus on is what is used as descriptive
