Did they? I read the whole article (agonizing) and it seemed like they simply avoided using any pronouns at all for Batman.

The DailyMail now advocating for respecting trans people’s preferred genders now?
Gullible@sh.itjust.works 10 months ago
You misunderstand. Transitioning in jail is akin to a prison tattoo, it only makes them more dangerous.

To… Retransition? To go from woman presenting, to man presenting, to… What? A fractal penis twelve feet in stature?

Biblically accurate penis.

I’m just remarking on the way everything about an inmate is often interpreted as an aspect of their recidivism on the daily mail. Like a 24/7 interview. My favorite used to be “converted to Islam.” Like, just let them be. Or harangue the US penal system about improving conditions and education in prison, if you really want to get involved, daily mail.

They’re also trying to build support for a child trafficker by using a trans person as an antagonist.
Gullible@sh.itjust.works 10 months ago
Yeah, down has been up for a good bit. Just 3.5 more years.
Passerby6497@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Do you have any actual evidence of either of those claims?
Gullible@sh.itjust.works 10 months ago
What are my claims? I’m just trying to see whether you’ve also misunderstood
Passerby6497@lemmy.world 10 months ago
Is there any evidence that either one of the bolded claims are true? You are explicitly claiming that both getting a tattoo in prison and transitioning in prison will increase a prisoner’s likelihood of recidivism. I’m curious if you have evidence to back this up, or if this is a ‘common sense’ sort of claim.
