As an elder gen Z I can assure you that the list of banned things in my class circa 2015 was somehow worse. Just off the top of my head.

SpongeBob laugh WW2 Propaganda (Just cause it’s historical doesn’t make it not pornography vaultdweller013) Any discussion of the killdozer Bulldozer noises Tank noises (You will all make annoying lawyers) Kazoos are not longer allowed Compressed air canisters are banned especially if you have a whistle and duck tape Arma is not allowed to be watched on computer property Soviet national anthem Russian national anthem State anthem of Mississippi Djibouti National anthem Sakkinarven Polka

Those are just the ones I remember, I am the direct source of at least half of them.

They changed the state anthem of Mississippi a couple of years ago from Go Mississippi to One Mississippi. It’s no longer contextually hilarious and not nearly as hoki. I guess Mississippi decided they were not on the right track and probably were never going to get to the top after all.

  Shame the old one is pretty unique, frankly if anyone needs an update it’s us Californians. But we are also a somewhat lazy bunch and would probably just make California Dreamin the new anthem. Either that or the committee would let their insanity take hold and ya would end up with something reminiscing a Latin war cant.

    This is wildly unrelated but it’s the polka that plays in my head when someone mentions polka which also happens to be mildly problematic though hilarious.
