I’ve only done privacy frosting before but the application process is the same. It’s a very easy DIY job and the film is inexpensive on ebay and I’m sure other places. All this to say you could definitely set aside an hour or two to DIY it and see the result.

thinking about getting my master bedroom windows tinted. Its only a problem this time of year and despite blockout blinds you still get a tone of light. Cant stick the curtains down cause cats love hanging out on the window sills. Anyone done tinting or found a better solution?

We have external roller shutters. They let in 0 light when fully closed.

This is the way. No they are not trendy, but for keeping light out and keeping heat out in summer they can’t be beat.

Things are ugly as shit!!! They’re a great security feature too. Considering how flimsy our windows are, I’m glad to have them.

They came with the house when we bought it. The north side of the house has several windows (including our bedroom) and has parklands behind, so it gets windy.
If we didn’t have the shutters, windows would have blown in already 😁

I like these, dont think the mrs is a huge fan though. and I’m tipping it might be a bit more expensive than tinting.

Definitely not cheap. I’m glad our house came with them.

Yes but 100% guaranteed no light will get through.
