  I’d guess that in most of the cultures globally regrettably it is still more desirable to be a man. And when men feel that way I am always confused. Do they think their mother, their wife, or their daughters are second class citizens?

    Yes. Yes, they do think that.

    To expand on this, many seem to either not realize it or not accept that’s what they’re doing.

    “I respect women, but I believe we must have entirely separate roles.”

    “I respect women, but their place is in the home.”

    “I respect women. I even believe they’re superior in fields like childcare, cleaning and cooking.”

    “I respect women, even though they’re not as good at STEM tasks.”

      In all seriousness, I would love to know the overlap among people who assume others on the internet are men, people who subscribe to OnlyFans, and people who are transphobic. That would have to be some tangled logic and Olympic level rationalization. I bet it’s more than one, and I bet I’ve already seen one interviewed at some kind of a rally.

  IIRC Nirvana is more like void instead of heaven. So I’m not sure is it good or bad even if they consider men are closer to that.
