  The last game published by 505 I played were apparently Indivisible, which was trash. I never played Ghostrunner nor Control which basically eliminates most of their notable recent output. I think I can safely say I’ll be fine with my continued ignoring of them as a publisher.

  I think some deathcults where the whole point is “live to 50, throw a massive party for the cult and go on a month long vacation, then kill yourself” might get some members. But they won’t really be that influential.

  Most likely will be the rise of the “work the least possible, care the least possible” culture. China already saw it happen, it was called “Lying flat”.

  People will just slowly move to northerner places. When those get back, they’ll move again. Lots of borders will close. There will be some wars over the likes of Siberia but they won’t last.

  Eventually people will run out of places to go too up norther, and they’ll just deny the existence of an issue.

  Man this was an issue already some 10 years ago when touhou wiki went self-hosted. It took a whole year for google to get memo and link the new one above the old.

  Nowadays I assume it’s pretty much impossible to reverse the flow unless if your game is huge and highly sought after.

  I was here slightly before the exodus, and the most hilarious post-exodus post I saw was people saying “our lemmy porn is normalizing, we’re finally becoming a place open for normies”, where the OP was saying that the Furries were going away. The thing is: Furries were NEVER a sizable, noticeable presence on Lemmy to begin with. This isn’t Blueskies, the community isn’t suspiciously a bunch fo bara fur enjoyers. And they said that around the time Burggit opened up, meaning degeneracy was going UP.

  So basically, People who complain about Porn on Lemmy just confuse me. Tech, Sports and Politics shit are actual garbage that ACTUALLY floods the entire dashboard.
