- Comment on What is a TV show that was one of your favourites, but just went on for far too long? 23 hours ago:
In a lot of ways, Bleach. I loved it when it came out, but I’ve had no interest in re-watching it. The problem for me is that the fighting doesn’t really show enough growth throughout the series, especially Ichigo. Everything is just to get a stronger Getsuga Tensho once he gets his bankai.
And I say this as someone who has re-watched Naruto more than once.
I’m sure there’s more but I’m finding it hard to remember things I used to like but no longer do.

Could be any number of reasons. The simplest is that they can’t upload the file to you that fast.

Ok, well then I’m just gonna ignore you if you’re going with whatever you feel over actual evidence. Hope you’re never picked for a jury.

I can’t find anything that suggests that. All I can find is a claim that Musk has made (with no evidence) and a quote from an astronaut that says he believes Musk (and explicitly says he has no evidence to the assertion Musk made).
Musk also claims Biden kept the astronauts up there for political reasons. Which makes no sense. How does them being stuck up there help Biden or democrats in any way? If anything, doesn’t it make them look bad? Not that it should because there was already a backup plan in place. They’ve been following the backup plan this whole time.
What I can find are articles from August/September that say SpaceX was planning to get the astronauts in February of this year. Thjs link is for an article from the end of August, astronomy.com/…/a-brief-history-of-astronauts-stu…. Again, that seems to be exactly the plan that has unfolded.
Until there’s some evidence otherwise, there’s no reason to believe what Musk is saying.

This was all sorted out before Trump even won the election. AFAIK, nothing has changed significantly since then.

Fuck if I know. One of the reasons I don’t use ice.
- Comment on Steam is a ticking time bomb. 2 weeks ago:
It’s definitely happened before, though I couldn’t say to what extent. The reason has been that if they rate games from major developers too poorly they stop getting access to their new games before release.
I care very little about critics these days though, and it’s mostly for the reason you suggest, differing opinions. If they don’t like the same types of games I like, what good is their rating to me? I’m not taking the time to try to find a critic that has similar tastes as me.

Aren’t they firing most people at the SSA? Who needs calls when they’re already doing things to make it harder to get SS?

The secret slush fund that they documented items individually? Not sure they know what secret means.
That said, I do wonder what the purpose of these purchases is, if they are indeed accurate.

DRM is usually known for big games before they are released. You can find articles about how the DRM works online. If it’s a new type of DRM, they usually describe how it works.

That $59 million was spent on housing immigrants. Of which SOME of the money was for luxury hotels. I have not seen an actual amount specified.

If you look deeper you’ll see it’s only a partial truth, like most things political. The individual pieces are truth, the whole is not.
