I just get corded electric. Never have to worry about it running out of juice that way. Though, it does mean there are limits to what you can get.

I’ve got quite a lot of moss in my backyard. The only downside is less traction. My backyard isn’t super hilly, but it’s no where near flat.

- Comment on just three women have died and 50783 babies have been saved by Texas' abortion law. A damn good trade if you ask me. 5 weeks ago:
As someone wise said, birth control isn’t 100% effective. Best case is 99%, usually a bit less on average. Texas has >30 million people. Assuming 1% have sex once that’s 300,000. If they all use birth control that’s 3,000 potential babies they didn’t want. And I think we can agree these numbers are EXTREMELY conservative.
Getting pregnant doesn’t mean you didn’t try to prevent it.

He lost two cases against her for defamation related to the sexual assault. May be civil, but if you don’t care that civil cases don’t prove guilt, then I guess it means ABC didn’t actually do anything wrong then.
You can’t have it both ways.

Same as when I tell my friend’s kids not to do something that’s dangerous. I tell them to stop doing it, explain why, and tell them if they do it again and hurt themselves I will not have sympathy. And I have followed through on that. I still make sure they are OK, but I don’t comfort them.

- Comment on Feds Accuse HelloFresh Of Employing Migrant Kids At Factory In Sanctuary State Illinois 1 month ago:
I’m not sure what the actually problem is here since they only mention that these “kids” are “teenagers.” Could be 13, could be 19. And the age matters a lot. I worked as a teen, and quite a few others did too. Not weird or illegal. Think I was 16 for my first job.
Also, I saw this gem of a quote. ‘Homan said, “Where do we find most victims of sex trafficking and forced labor trafficking? At worksites…”’ So, people being forced to work were found… where they work. Shocking I tell you, shocking.
- Comment on Workplaces need to do a better job at supporting menstruating workers 1 month ago:
Part of the problem is how often such a policy would be used by an individual. Several days a month? That’s too much IMO. Not to say that they should be forced to work, but I don’t believe compensation should be the same. Up to once a month per year? Sure, have at it.
