I don’t think we’ll ever view this interaction in the same light.
- Comment on Nolte: VP Vance Repeatedly Humiliates Fake News During White House Briefing 4 days ago:
And? He didn’t have to get right in front of the car to do that. That’s why I said in another comment that both sides made poor decisions.

Like the agent stepping in front of a vehicle that he knows can be a deadly weapon?
- Comment on Nolte: VP Vance Repeatedly Humiliates Fake News During White House Briefing 4 days ago:
Not really more clearly but it’s definitely a better angle. It does look like the car pushed him. Still, by the time he gets a shot off he’s already been pushed out of the way.

I think you should re-watch the footage and see where his feet are when he shoots. He does shoot through the windshield but he’s already past the hood when he does so. He goes a bit out of his way to shoot through the windshield.
This appears to be when his first shot occurred, based on the sound from the footage. You telling me that’s still in front of the vehicle?

I’m not saying this is black and white. And it’s easy to look back at this and think on everythjng for more than a quick second. But what I am saying is that those agents did everything in their power to escalate a situation, including stepping in front of the vehicle on foot, that did not seem to require it. That lead to this result. It was poor choices all around. And I still want to reiterate, the agent didn’t even shoot until he was already out of the way of the vehicle.
And if you’re trying to equate this woman to Kirk… well, you’ve lost my interest in further discussion. Too many may have celebrated his death, but being apathetic to a hateful person’s death isn’t even in the same league.

I mean, you can look at the video footage and make your own determination. I don’t think anyone is going to argue that if someone is trying to intentionally run you over that shooting them is going to be unreasonable force. The question is whether she was trying to intentionally run over the person. I’m not convinced she was. Hell, the guy doesn’t even get a shot off until he’s already clear of the car.
- Comment on as a young person, what must one look for when it comes to finding a new country to live in? 1 week ago:
Well. Not good. I couldn’t help myself considering the context.
- Comment on Do you preorder games? 2 weeks ago:
No. I’ve pre-ordered a couple in the past though. Diablo 3 is the only one that comes to mind though, also the last one I ever did. I can’t think of any company that has a good enough track record for me to even consider it. Not even Paradox.

Close. LD50 is the dose based on body weight where it kills 50% of people of that weight. There’s really no way to know what has a 50% chance of killing you.

I’ve never had the full details of any of his supposed plans but AFAIK, they’ve basically all been Russian victories. What is different about this one? Is he still wanting to give Russia Donbas?

Not trying to shit on her, but what a terrible name. Why name someone in such a way that it doesn’t even sound like a name to most people? That sucks for everyone.

I can go through a whole gallon by myself before it goes bad. Now, I might just barely be able to do it most times, but still. Between cooking, drinking, and cereal, I can usually find a way to use it all. I mostly drink it though.

I make sure to keep the fridge just above freezing. I do this by actually setting it cold enough to freeze then raising it slightly until things stop freezing.

Had a similar thing happen in an intro geology course. Highest grade on the final was 41%, my grade. I got an A in class. I do not understand why anyone would make an intro to geology course that difficult. Very few are going into the field. Most just needed an extra science course, like myself.

God damn it. I knew Disney getting into the streaming biz was going to suck balls. I was already pissed off when they pulled their content to form their own service.
Well, guess I’ll be watching more anime. Only got Crunchyroll left. And I’m not sure how long that’s gonna last either. They are making stupid choices as well.
