I mean the reason is that most people will be a bit sketched out by homeless people hanging around your establishment. I’ve run into quite a few homeless people when living in the city and more times than not they are pretty sketchy individuals, not all but most.

If you have a quality bit and quality fastener it’s quite difficult to cam out a Phillips. The issue is that finding quality bits and fasteners can be difficult and expensive so most people have experience with the homeowner grade which cams out easily without a huge amount of pressure.

Yea sure some companies may lower head count in certain areas. The internet era certainly had the same effect. The overall impact had a net positive on jobs however.
