Supposedly the top edge of your monitor should be just above your forehead so you don’t hurt your neck looking upward/downward.

I’m going to upset someone and I apologize. This game feels cheap to me. Like someone took too many liberties with the game style. I like the doom games so I hope this doesn’t fall on its face.

Meh. Doesn’t hurt anyone so no one should give a shit.

They finally figured out how to reverse engineer the hardware that generates our simulated universe. We are able to use the “creators” compute cycles. We have “infinite” storage because we cannot comprehend the size of the universe still. Time travel is possible because we are all living in the same compute space. We brought back the uplink tech to see how it affects the simulated future because we are bored. There is no enjoyment to living any more since since everyone has cheat codes and play in creative mode.

I think it has a lot to do with her ADHD. Either way she is still alive.
- Comment on How do I breathe quietly through my nose? 10 months ago:
Some folk like my spouse would randomly take a huge gasping breath. She was, and is, always forgetting to breathe. Since she has started learning to belly breathe and it is starting to become more autonomic her gasps have reduced. That being said she still forgets to breathe.

I don’t know how much patience you have for long term efforts. I have done this for other issues. Meditate on it. Spend initially 5 minutes a day and then lengthen and increase frequency to something like 10-20 minutes 2-3x a day. Figure out what works for you.
Recreate the situations and scenarios where you get triggered. And be in the situation. Stew in it. Notice more and more how you react. What is happening before your reaction? What is happening in the space between each reaction. You most likely will not find out the solution while in meditation. But the meditation will ingrain the ability to slow your processes down. So when you’re back in the situation you will start noticing the issues that are making you lose it.
Once armed with that knowledge you’ll either find new coping mechanisms or you’ll have better information for a mental health professional to help you see those new coping mechanisms.
Rinse and repeat.

Fun. I kind of wish this was the world tree.
- Comment on Some people are really good at concentrating their attention. (when writing software, playing games, reading etc). It's a superpower. What are other attention superpowers? 11 months ago:
I think you’re doing what I found I was doing a little while ago. Concentration is the ability to bring yourself back to what you ultimately want to do. Absorption is the exclusion of all else. I think you want absorption and your concentration is likely fantastic. Most people concentrate really well and don’t realize it.

- Comment on Games that require you to unlock the basic functions of the game can suck my nuts. 1 year ago:
If there is a constant need to watch YouTube videos or look up game guides the days of playing that game ends very quickly. Must be intuitive to play.
- Comment on Valve is now reversing VAC bans due to AMD drivers in CS2, according to patch notes 1 year ago:
Happened to me with World of Warcraft. Went on vacation and I was banned when I got back. Put a lot of money into that. Logged in a few years ago and all of account stuff was deleted. Gotta love when you’re erroneously targeted.
All I was doing was going to a vender in the wild and buying thread for some silver and then selling for gold on the auction because high level players were lazy and didn’t want to go find it. I was low level and had a ton of gold. It was fun. But unfortunately there are people that follow that pattern and are breaking rules. I matched it and got banned.

- Comment on Why are wrong numbers so common in the US? 1 year ago:
I am always wary of this behavior. So I basically try saying vague things about something only that person would know and if the answers are not in line then I assume they are no longer the right person.
As long as you aren’t malicious I don’t think it’s horrible though sadly in today’s world this should probably be protected against. You could very easily take advantage of an unsuspecting person.
- Comment on Why are wrong numbers so common in the US? 1 year ago:
True. When I accidentally sent someone a message because a person in my contacts changed their number without telling me I didn’t get a cute reply. It was literally for me to fuck off. People are so fun and kind.
- Comment on My dog is on an antibiotic for Lyme disease and he will not sleep at night because his stomach is upset 1 year ago:
I feel for both of you. You’re stuck in a tough place. There are different types of antibiotics if memory serves me well so it may be best to see if there is something else they can prescribe that might be less devastating or at the very least some probiotics that you can put him in that will help offset the gut issue. I am only speaking from what I’ve heard my wife talk about for herself. I was on antibiotics so much as a kid that my gut bacteria has never properly recovered. I have yet to find a probiotic that works for me. They all make me sick. Almost everything makes me gassy and in pain so I really feel for your pup. Not sure if they make a gasX product for pets but that may help too.

When mine are nightmarish I walk backwards and slip through the barrier/wall of the dream back into my body. Not sure how I figured that out but it works for me.
- Comment on What games can you recommend that didn't get the appreciation that they deserved? 1 year ago:
Avent rising. They should have had a sequel but I know it would have likely just gotten botched and I would have hated playing it.

The entire game looks cheap to me. The weapons and the way it just handles doesn’t seem very good.
