Double time half power gang. It’s so much better. I can wait an extra 90 sec for it to be evenly heated.
- Comment on Anon's lacking pissing habits 2 weeks ago:
Or having both hands for the phone, or not needing to blind yourself with a light in the middle of the night. So many reasons.
- Comment on Why is daisychaining multiple extension cords considered unsafe, even if only done to the length of a standard cable? 3 weeks ago:
Because this is the Internet, I’ll be pedantic and say the interface where each cord plugs into the next probably adds some resistance as well.
So, 50 cords 1 ft each plugged into each other would have a higher resistance than the same wire at a single 50ft length.
I doubt it really matters in the practical terms of your answer and the question being asked though.
- Comment on It's 54 degrees Fahrenheit (12 Celsius), raining moderately hard, the rain is cold, and there's a guy blowing around wet leaves with a leaf blower. What the hell is the obsession with leaf blowers? 4 weeks ago:
My puppy loses his shit when I aim the leaf blower towards him.

I don’t feel good about either. Haven’t for a couple years.

I’m waiting for the record go fund me numbers this guy gets for his defense fund if they do find him.
- Comment on So this is how my neighbor fixes his fence. 1 month ago:
Looks like they each have their own fence. The neighbor has a taller fence. You can see the top of OP’s fence near the bottom of the picture.
People often orient wooden fences so the nice side of it faces inward towards their yard.
Side note: Sometimes people make their fence with every other slat on the opposite side, so there is no front and back. Both sides are identical. I don’t like how those fences look. It just makes both sides look bad, and you can see through them when approaching from an angle.

A fish about a foot long jumped out of the water within arm’s reach of me while swimming at a Florida beach. First thought was what might be hunting that fish. I got out for a while.
- Comment on They're called leaves for a reason. 1 month ago:
The layer of leaves kills that stuff too, right?
- Comment on They're called leaves for a reason. 1 month ago:
Yeah that’s definitely the issue here. There’s still a layer of wet leaves by the time the grass wants to start growing in the spring.
- Comment on They're called leaves for a reason. 1 month ago:
That has not been my experience. The leaves wreck the ph of the soil and block light from letting grass grow.

- Comment on Anon's body is a machine 3 months ago:
I saw a story like that on reddit once. Dude was going through medical school. Had a FWB who was getting into squirting. He noticed it tasted sweet and told her to get checked for diabetes. She was prediabetic if I remember correctly.

Mine frequently smells like whatever meat I ate, especially after eating a couple chili dogs or smoked meat.
- Comment on The two types of jobs 3 months ago:
I feel like it’s just the opposite.
Try designing something without instructions or a template. You’ll run into a thousand little issues you didn’t realize needed to be considered.
That’s true of software, sure. But it’s also true if you want to make a wooden dresser without plans or build an rc airplane from scratch.
In my experience, things are rarely as simple as they first seem.

Yeah the only kind of wallpaper I’ve encountered was old and did not peel away. You had to steam it, scrape it, burn it… I’m glad it’s easier to work with today.

- Comment on Seriously, what the f*** is keeping Donald Trump in this presidential race? 4 months ago:
Democrats are a varied group. If Republicans weren’t so bat shit crazy, it would be nearly impossible to get all the Democrats to support the same person or set of policy preferences.
I think built into the question is - how can there still be so many Republicans? The 30% - 40% of voters who support him know what he’s about. That’s a fuck ton of spiteful adults in America. Seems like Canada, UK, and others in Europe aren’t so different either. Fuck.

You should say “This is how something looks” or “This is what something looks like”, but don’t put the “how” and the “like” in the same statement.
That is not how it should look like.

Probably not the video’s fault though. The meme is just too epic. The video never had a chance of beating that hype.

Drink IPA without letting any air into your mouth and keep your tongue somewhat pressed against the roof of your mouth. It seems to block off the taste buds on top of the tongue and lets the beer wash around the sides of the tongue instead. This reduces the in-your-face bitterness and allows the secondary flavors to be noticed. At least that’s how I started appreciating IPAs.
