Thank you for doing the right thing. So many people have a mindset of “letting nature do its thing” which is selfish bullshit. We are supposed to be the guardians of the animals we care for. Watching them suffer is not ok.

Yep. It’s neglect plain and simple

Sort of, but it’s almost guaranteed that this donkey foundered and the reason he was tri poding like that is because that legs coffin bone has gone through the frog, it’s basically if you had no skin/muscle over your heel bone, all of a horses weight is on that bone. It’s excruciatingly painful when it’s exposed. I’m a little annoyed at the owners in this article, because all of this would have been easily prevented by taking care of him and dry lotting him even for 1/2 the day, toss in hay, manage his weight. Even after he foundered they could have dry lotted him, put glue on shoes and have a bare foot farrier get his hoves back in order. They just let this poor guy suffer, probably for months if not years.

Laminitis is what they get from over eating sugary grass and being overweight…the owners should have had him on a dry lot rotation…dude would have been fine if the owners knew anything. This is like letting a diabetic eat cake and then wondering why their feet are falling off.

My old builds go to the wife and her old PCs upgrade my NAS. By the time I’m done using the hardware it’s 10-12 years old. Wife only plays sims anyways. 2080 super is her upgrade to an AM4 3900x and 64gb of ram and 2) 2TB nvme drives. She will get plenty of life from that and then in 5 years, get my current rig. Cycle continues.

I was under the impression a lot of states use rivers or water ways as state lines. Guessing it was that way as it was easiest before gps.

Can we just keep lower decks going? I hate that it’s been cancelled, it’s such a good show, I’m not really a trek fan at all and I love the hell out of it.

It’s amazing with friends… especially when one of them decides to be the cook, and burns down the base because they forgot to turn off the stove while we’re all out scavenging for supplies…

That’s not making people fat. People are fat because they eat to much and have sedentary lifestyles. Watch secret eaters on YT, it’s from the UK, but demonstrates how much snacking and sitting most people do.

Surroundead for single player zombie survival
Project zonboid for multiplayer zombie survival
Kingdom come deliverance for visuals and epic story
Hell let loose for FPS shooter
Deadlock for moba/fps
Risk of rain 2 for multiplayer roguelite
The raft for multiplayer survival on water
The forest for multiplayer survival on land
SCUM for pvp survival
That’s all I can think of for now…the fun part of PC is gaming with friends without having to pay a shitty subscription fee.

When I say less, I mean as in assets and things to do. Side quests alone in a lot of games these days are damn near as many hours as the main story is.
- Comment on Video Games Can’t Afford to Look This Good 3 weeks ago:
Games had a lot less in them as well though, but even then games still took time. OoT, one of the biggest RPGs, released in 98, two 1/2 years of dev time. Games still required time, maybe less, but they also had less in them.
- Comment on Video Games Can’t Afford to Look This Good 3 weeks ago:
34 mil is nothing when you start looking at the cost of some of these other games, even Skyrim was over 100 million. Like GTA5, with marketing, was like 250 million. Just insanely expensive, and I guarantee you the devs are not pulling in a mil or two a year.

10mil for Hellblade
en.m.wikipedia.org/…/Kingdom_Come:_Deliverance#:~….
36mil for KC:D one of the prettiest games of the time…which includes marketing.
The cost of some of these “AAAA” titles is a complete joke.
- Comment on Video Games Can’t Afford to Look This Good 3 weeks ago:
It’s bullshit accounting, they’re not spending it on the devs or the games, they’re spending it on advertising and the c levels Paydays. There are a ton of really good looking games, that had what would be considered shoestring budgets, but these companies bitching about it aren’t actually in it for the games anymore, its just for the money.

- Comment on Funko, BrandShield speak out about itch.io takedown 5 weeks ago:
$100 says they wouldn’t have said shit even if this was a smaller platform than itch and people didn’t basically put them on blast. Funko is just trying damage control now that their customers are calling foul. I seriously hope people stop buying these things as a punishment to this company using shitty AI and not actually apologizing, but I know thats wishful thinking.
