Holy shit really? That’s crazy. I live in a rural area and still can get an HVAC guy out in about a day usually it’s same day. We even have after hours guys. Don’t let that make it sound like it’s a flooded trade here, as that’s completely wrong, most of these guys are literally busy 24/7/365 but that sounds like an untapped industry.
I do understand that a lot of the new generation has been sold desk jobs making 6 figures though, at least here…and not enough people want to take the outdoors and labor intensive style jobs anymore. Welders are a good one around my area, you’d think we’d be crawling in them, but nope they’re a trade that has a lot of openings, as the older generation(boomers) are retired, then Gen x is hitting retirement and there is even less millennials that picked up the trade and even less Gen z…times gonna get rough soon.

O yea, HVAC in the states is big but with the planet continuing to become an oven, the EU is just getting started with HVAC, ton of money to be had there.

Because colleges pushed the “without a degree, you’ll be flipping burgers and living in your mom’s basement”. When the reality is, trades make bank.

Get a hand held vacuum for cleaning the feed they toss out when eating. Mice love to find it all over the place.
If you’re getting better at cleaning then I’d let it out more often. Not being able to fly around means the muscles in it’s wings will eventually atrophy and it won’t be able to fly at all.

Go on Facebook marketplace and get a bigger cage. People basically give them away all the time. When we had rescued two conures and a cockatoo, I ended up building an aviary in a spare side of the house. Used 12g 1/2" x1/2" welded wire, it was 12x20 and even that wasn’t enough to make me feel good about having birds in captivity. We would let them out and fly around the house when we were home but it’s not a good life for these guys. I really wish exotics would be banned.

Wow, the newest car I have is a 2002 lx470 lol, rest of my stuff is 80s/90s, mostly Toyota…hell my 1950s MUTT I can still get parts for.
Try finding a different mechanic. Dealerships are usually there to get you to trade in the car for another one. They don’t call them stealerships for nothing.

That’s a fair assessment, but do remember the amount of people who abstained from voting because of gaza and how Kamala was going to be somehow worse than the turnip.

Yep. Basically a minority got us into this mess.

Yep, they call them pavement princesses and the idiots who drive them absolutely think they can bully everything else because they’re in a truck. They’re morons.
- Comment on Local news did an entire segment featuring a guy who's mad about having to drive more carefully. 1 month ago:
The amount of idiots who drive trucks and have no clue how to drive them is a huge problem. They buy them and then never use them for the intended purpose and then cause those of us who do need them for work, to pay premiums because the manufacturers no longer care about making non premium models. Why would they when you got idiots like this guy buying the most expensive trim level, just to drive around in the city.

I grabbed it on sale for like $10, even for $10 it wasn’t really worth it. So much broken shit, and then almost nothing to do.
- Comment on Why have we as a society just accepted the increasingly blinding bright lights of cars? 2 months ago:
It seems most people who have issues with the new lights already have vision issues to begin with and would have the same issue with the gold/yellow halogen lights anyways but probably don’t remember. As I can damn near look at the new LEDs and do not get blinded at all by them but the old lights if the vehicle forgot to turn off their brights.
- Comment on Why have we as a society just accepted the increasingly blinding bright lights of cars? 2 months ago:
I must be taking crazy pills…the title and comment is all about how we just accept this and how manufacturers are racing to make lights as bright as the sun. No where in the comment of this post does it say misaligned.
- Comment on Why have we as a society just accepted the increasingly blinding bright lights of cars? 2 months ago:
It really is, the OP is asking why there isn’t more regulation to stop companies from swapping to the LEDs, and the statistics say that there doesn’t need to be because they’re safer.
This is like asking why they don’t regulate 3 point seatbelts cause it irritates some peoples necks…and we should go back to lap belts.
- Comment on Why have we as a society just accepted the increasingly blinding bright lights of cars? 2 months ago:
Not even the same. LEDs statistically are better for helping light up the roads during the night, and reducing lack of visibility crashes.

Cost of living is a thing…1mil USD doesn’t make you rich in the USA, it might in some country in Africa but it’s not doing that here. The fact that you don’t understand how economics work on a global scale is quite telling. Shit like this is why so many people don’t take the left seriously.
- Comment on The rich convinced us that taxing them is too complicated but everyday people can be taxed pretty easily 2 months ago:
The fuck…you clearly have no clue how much it costs to live these days…1mil retirement is a joke that’s 50k a year if you’re lucky, and that’s only getting you 20 years. More than likely medical shit will eat that up.
