I grabbed it on sale for like $10, even for $10 it wasn’t really worth it. So much broken shit, and then almost nothing to do.
- Comment on Why have we as a society just accepted the increasingly blinding bright lights of cars? 4 days ago:
It seems most people who have issues with the new lights already have vision issues to begin with and would have the same issue with the gold/yellow halogen lights anyways but probably don’t remember. As I can damn near look at the new LEDs and do not get blinded at all by them but the old lights if the vehicle forgot to turn off their brights.
- Comment on Why have we as a society just accepted the increasingly blinding bright lights of cars? 4 days ago:
I must be taking crazy pills…the title and comment is all about how we just accept this and how manufacturers are racing to make lights as bright as the sun. No where in the comment of this post does it say misaligned.
- Comment on Why have we as a society just accepted the increasingly blinding bright lights of cars? 4 days ago:
It really is, the OP is asking why there isn’t more regulation to stop companies from swapping to the LEDs, and the statistics say that there doesn’t need to be because they’re safer.
This is like asking why they don’t regulate 3 point seatbelts cause it irritates some peoples necks…and we should go back to lap belts.
- Comment on Why have we as a society just accepted the increasingly blinding bright lights of cars? 4 days ago:
Not even the same. LEDs statistically are better for helping light up the roads during the night, and reducing lack of visibility crashes.

Cost of living is a thing…1mil USD doesn’t make you rich in the USA, it might in some country in Africa but it’s not doing that here. The fact that you don’t understand how economics work on a global scale is quite telling. Shit like this is why so many people don’t take the left seriously.
- Comment on The rich convinced us that taxing them is too complicated but everyday people can be taxed pretty easily 1 week ago:
The fuck…you clearly have no clue how much it costs to live these days…1mil retirement is a joke that’s 50k a year if you’re lucky, and that’s only getting you 20 years. More than likely medical shit will eat that up.

He did land…but I feel like his margin for error was like 20-30’ to the side and he’s missing the net… you’re right though. Stuff like this is…why watch it live. There is no redo or as you said, a broken bone or survivable injury here. He just becomes human jello.

Never understood this. If you go to a show, more than likely (unless it’s open mic), you know the comedian, which means you know which way their material leans…

You know these run a premium now right? A clean one will net a decent amount since the 4x4 rock crawlers love to turn them into go anywhere toys.
- Comment on Apparently they are actually for birds??? 1 month ago:
Yep, one my horses sister drown herself in 3 foot of water(shallow pond)…we couldn’t figure out how since we didn’t know her sister and was told the story by the previous owner. That was until we brought her to one of the deeper creeks on the farm…the second the water got to her chest, she would plung her entire face in and try to swim underwater. Come up and be half water logged get some air and do it again. Needless to say that’s how we figured out her sister probably was rolling around in the pond, and literally asphyxiated herself via breathing in water enough that she probably passed out and drown.
I love that horse, but she’s working with two braincells at best.
- Comment on Apparently they are actually for birds??? 1 month ago:
Yep sounds about right. It’s a rewarding work but it does make you wonder how they lived before humans domesticated them.
- Comment on Apparently they are actually for birds??? 1 month ago:
Nope %100 makes sense. And horses are definitely the second dumbest creature on the planet. They will try and kill themselves daily. Our vet always said that if a horse wants to kill itself, it’ll find a way even in circular padded room. And we have a few that on a daily will try to do shit that makes you think how they’re still alive.
- Comment on Apparently they are actually for birds??? 1 month ago:
Yea, I mean I’m not saying that to be mean. As I genuinely like the birds. They will talk to you when you get near them in the barns and the two we raised are still hanging out on the farm even years after we released them.
- Comment on Apparently they are actually for birds??? 1 month ago:
Pigeons are really dumb birds, how they have survived as a species is a mystery to me. We have a few pairs on the farm that have had babies and out of the 6-8 that have made it to maturity, 2 of them we had to rescue cause they just jumped out of the nest and couldn’t fly yet. We’d put them back in the nest for a few days and then just give up and raise them in the aviary until they were fully grown and then release them. Awesome birds as pets, but dumb as a box of rocks in the wild.
- Comment on Question for people who smoke cigars: how do you cut torpedo cigars? 2 months ago:
Regular open ended cigar cutter. V cut doesn’t work and neither will a punch…you can get them to work but it’s just a pain in the ass. Easier to just use open ended cutter.

Sure, look at the WSM guys, they look fat and are fit, but even they know what they’re doing isn’t healthy…but let’s stop trying to suggest that the norm is fit people who look obese. You know exactly what I’m talking about, the mass majority are not fit and look obese, the mass majority are obese. There is a reason cancers and diseases are spiking, and it’s not from fit people.
- Comment on It's all SO simple! 2 months ago:
Oh, and one more thing, fatness isn’t a ubiquitous measure of healthiness or virtue, and thinness isn’t either. We have to challenge our assumptions and biases, a lot of which come from our cultures and media.
It kinda is… obesity is not healthy. Period. It’s bad for your joints, your organs, it’s a driver for cancers and other illnesses. The HAES movement is partially to blame for this massive spike in obesity we’re seeing. All of those links you post, are not causing the majority of people to be obese. The epidemic is not something that happened in the past, it’s quite recent.
