Well we do have laws against fraud, deceptive marketing, etc. It’s hard for me to imagine what we would be arresting someone for unless it were one of those already illegal acts.
It’s nice to say it should be illegal to take advantage of someone, but who decides if that happened, and by what criteria?
- Comment on So the flurry of flying embers that were blowing around in California, is that commonly how fire spreads? 2 months ago:
They do controlled burns, but the ability to do that safely has been hampered by years of drought conditions. At least Democrats admit climate change exists I guess?
- Comment on Marvel Snap is banned, just like TikTok 2 months ago:
That’s typically what you get in return for an investment. The only question is if it’s enough of a share to give control or at least influence.

“Research it on my own”? By doing what? Running clinical trials? We have experts as a society for a reason.
You’re probably the kind of person who thinks it’s a massive government overreach that you’re forced to wear a seatbelt.

“Hey guys, I think vaccines cause autism but THE LEFT won’t let me spread my bullshit online”
Isn’t that the same thing as platforming actual Nazis???

You can tell this is the look he was going for by his calling downvoters “simpletons”.
- Comment on Is Half-Life Opposing Force still known to current gamers, or is this a side game that's fallen through the cracks. 2 months ago:
Aw man, I loved opposing force so much! The idea of having allies (with their own infinite ammo!) to fight for you was everything I had ever wanted in a game.

Maybe a family member? He’s old enough to see a grandparent have the quality of their last days stolen.
- Comment on Did 70% of Wisconsin voters just delete their own constitutional guarantee to be eligible to vote? 4 months ago:
It would seem to do that, yes. You don’t even have to be abroad, as you could easily be stationed in a different state from your “home” residence.
This has no effect on federal elections of course, and so I think it’s not that unreasonable to say that you only get to vote on local issues if you are living locally.

Oh you mean like the guy he was replying to?
- Comment on Since cats don't pant like dogs how do they release trapped heat? 5 months ago:
Actually not all dogs just have their tongue out all the time. Mostly they pant when they get hot.

With the possible exception of games that were canceled, those are all examples of super scummy nonsense.

You can get it at many restaurants in the south, extremely common. I had some in Atlanta Georgia, fried bites as an app. Gamey chicken is a pretty good descriptor!

The issue is not her stint in politics, but rather her election denialism and attacks on journalists.

It’s actually a spiritual successor to a game called Titan Quest, which had the same dual class system. It’s a ton of fun, I highly recommend it!

You don’t have a point, you’re just here to stir up shit for fun. I don’t know why you enjoy that, maybe you should consider why you feel that way.

And your dog has never acted on its prey drive? Never chased a squirrel or a rabbit even? If a big dog decides you’re prey, this is what happens. Not sure why you think pretending otherwise is a good idea.
- Comment on Man attacked by two dogs near school in Stonnall dies 1 year ago:
What more could there possibly be? And what makes you think a dog wouldn’t kill something for fun? Have you ever even owned a dog?
