The inaccurate ones are the scariest. That crab isn’t remotely natural, it must be the work of a truly gifted and insane necromancer.

You guys still get commercials?

To pick a losing candidate? That’s more of a DNC move.
- Comment on why isn't anyone calling for Trump to drop out. 4 months ago:
I’m suggesting that literally every eligible voter should have done that. Republicans only get away with representing the worst vocal minorities in this country because we let them.
- Comment on why isn't anyone calling for Trump to drop out. 4 months ago:
what do you suggest people should have done during the primaries
Register Republican and vote for anyone but Trump. Even if the vote were split and he ended up winning anyway it would have emboldened centrist Republicans to stand against the fascist wing of the party.
- Comment on why isn't anyone calling for Trump to drop out. 4 months ago:
No one is asking him to drop out because they aren’t afraid he’s going to lose. Simple as that.
Everyone with their panties in a twist right now could have done something about it during the primaries, but apparently protest votes about Israeli atrocities were the priority.

- Comment on Wells Fargo workers using ‘mouse movers’ are getting caught and fired - The Verge 5 months ago:
If that’s the case then I’d be pissed at whoever is supposed to handling PR for letting the story get out without framing it in the best light
- Comment on Wells Fargo workers using ‘mouse movers’ are getting caught and fired - The Verge 5 months ago:
If they had measurable productivity that was acceptable then who cares if they needed to step away for a while? Wells Fargo is sending a message that they care more about warm seats than actual results.
- Comment on Wells Fargo workers using ‘mouse movers’ are getting caught and fired - The Verge 5 months ago:
The real takeaway here is that Wells Fargo pays for work that isn’t quantifiable via review of the work product. What are these people doing that produces nothing that can be reviewed to quantify their performance to such a degree that simple mouse movement is the only metric they can be judged by? If I were stupid enough to be invested in that criminal enterprise I’d be pissed.
- Comment on Anon wants to ride a zeppelin 5 months ago:
If they have a future it’ll be moving stuff, not people. If it’s faster than a container ship and can carry more than a plane then it could have a valuable niche.
- Comment on [Serious] Why do so many people seem to hate veganism? 6 months ago:
Most isn’t all and that’s the point. You can be concerned about the ethical treatment of animals without going full vegan, you’ll just need to pay more attention and money at the grocery store to support the right products.

TIL the eggs from my backyard chickens might be from a factory farm
- Comment on [Serious] Why do so many people seem to hate veganism? 6 months ago:
No one likes being criticized and labeled a monster by an ignorant prick. They way to frequently act like every egg comes from a half zombie chicken that’s kept in a little box and tortured just for fun, or that a cow couldn’t possibly end up in a cheeseburger after living its best life. Factory farming is bad for lots of reasons, but it’s not characteristic of the entire industry.

Ok, sure, that’s a lot of mayo. But I didn’t think OP was referring to an amount consumed in one sitting. Surely there’s someone out there that just loves macaroni salad or coleslaw who ends up eating way more on a longer timescale.
- Comment on money 7 months ago:
Yeah, that’s going to require some travel, so it’s going to cost more, but I’d go as low as $20,000.

How long is that going to take? Can we do it via Zoom? If it’s not inconvenient for me to attend this meeting I’d be down for $1/second. My number is higher if it has to be in person, but I’m not gonna act like it’s a high number.

Bad example. Having the ‘but’ in there introduces ambiguity. We can’t tell if Janice is contradicting Bob and saying they both won’t be coming, or if it’s just Janice speaking for themself.

Bro, not only are they sentient, the trees fucking hate us. Allergies aren’t just something that happens as a quirk of evolution. Those trees are filling the air with their jizz in a coordinated effort to take us out bro. The trees are trying to kill us bro.
