What is with these tv commercials about crepe skin? What are they even selling? Hey! I like French street food! I do not want to eat the skin of old people!

Crepe paper is super thin and has fine wrinkles. That’s where the term probably comes from. The commercials are indeed awful.

It’s a bad joke. A Crepe is like a French burrito but wrapped in a different sort of unleavened bread thing. I love it. I guess it’s also a word for old people and their skin and the cosmetics industry
