- Comment on I'm working on a Sci-fi Point and Click adventure called Hope: A Sky Full of Ghosts. A demo is coming in a few weeks and would love a wishlist if that sounds like you jam. 3 days ago:
I used to really love point and clicks, in the style that yours seems to be, and I really missed them.
I honestly could not add this to my wishlist any faster. I wish you the best of luck with the release!

You may be onto something. If we take away HL: Lost Coast, and both HL: Deathmatch versions, there are 9 titles.
With the rumoured title code named HL:X it makes me wonder how they’re going to announce it (granted these rumours are true). - Comment on Monty Python and the Holy Grail at 50: a hilarious comic peak 1 week ago:
I quite liked the ending, and thought it was a hilarious way to finish it. Maybe I’m alone, however I honestly did like that as it seemed typical of a Monty Python thing.

Ah fuck. Sorry man, I hope someone can figure it out. It’s a very new game, so hopefully more people take enough notice for a fix to be implemented.
Otherwise, I found an article which seems to allude to advanced volume settings to ‘normalise audio’, on an Xbox, in a similar way: support.xbox.com/…/choosing-speaker-audio-output
If you’re using a Playstation, it may be worth digging around in your system settings. Sometimes the option is referred to as ‘equalise’, ‘dynamic range’, etc.
Hope this helps!

I installed the game myself and had a look, unfortunately you’re right. My speakers are decent with hearing everything, however I can definitely notice the vocals being considerably lower than the music and such.
There is a way to normalise audio levels from within Windows sound settings, you just have to remember to revert once you’re done playing.
This seems to be a good article about it: pureinfotech.com/normalize-sound-volume-windows-1…It’s a workaround, but it should help with the game and anything else you’d have this issue with. If you’re using Linux, unfortunately I can’t help. Good luck!

This sounds like the issue I had a good while ago, before realising something I was using was trying to output as surround sound, whereas I only had stereo speakers (so some sounds seemed normal, some incredibly low).
Just thought of giving that a mention. It may be worth having a look in your game settings, if there is an option to output as Stereo.

My word, I remember playing this when I was a teenager (and I’m in my mid-30s now).
I remember doing all those trick movements, the slash and dash, wall climbs, weapon switching for quick dash etc.
Then several months into playing, I found out people were using macros for those instead of… Pressing all the keys manually…
My hands hurt so much until that discovery. - Comment on Acetone: A Thread 1 month ago:
I always thought the same, and I’ve been toking for about two decades. For pieces my friends and I always prefer glass. If using a glass piece though, it’s important to use vinegar once in a while (not just Isopropanol) to get rid of the chance of mould build up.
- Comment on Acetone: A Thread 1 month ago:
You know, I used to do this as a teenager, when cleaning my bearings with acetone, and I recall my family needing to get the sink repaired due to leakages getting quite severe at times.
Only through this post have I come to realise, 20 years later, that I was most likely at fault for the issue.
I mean I’m still not going to admit it to anyone, but it’s good to know and stuff. - Comment on What would happen if I took a thc gummy as a suppository? 2 months ago:
I thought that’s what the question was asking about? I’m confused.
- Comment on What would happen if I took a thc gummy as a suppository? 2 months ago:
You’d get medicinal qualities, and a body relaxation, however you wouldn’t get a cerebral high as the THC is not processed in a way that would allow it (when used anally).

I dunno man, I put the wrong pipe in during some DIY in overalls and Nintendo now own my house.
They let me buy my sink back, which was strange since it looks exactly the same as the one I bought 20 years ago.

When I was about 12, someone asked me for directions as he was going around in circles in his car. I gave him directions which I later found out was several miles in the opposite direction.
I’m 36 and I still think about this. I hope he found his destination…
Maybe he is still driving to this day. - Comment on Netflix bad... Shocker, I know 3 months ago:

I’m not sure if this will fulfill your needs entirely, or how you feel regarding piracy to obtain source material, however I’ve been running Jellyfin for a while with an overall good experience. Subtitles are found and automatically applied, and it’s rather snappy.
I use it to watch an episode or two when I’m at the gym. - Comment on I believe him on a factual level, but not on an emotional level. 3 months ago:
I’ve been to Bruges and it is always going to be one of my favourite places on Earth, and I’ve literally only been once and for a few days at best.
Be careful with the lambic beer, is a warning I was given and one I give to everyone whilst there (since I visited back when I was able to drink alcohol). It’s too damn tasty, and very easy to be rather drunk before you even know it.
- Comment on If someone murdered me, how long would it take (if ever) until they catch the murderer? 4 months ago:
Greater London. When people think of London they usually forget the areas on the outskirts. Just a lot of gang activity. Earlier this year someone got stabbed metres from my living room window, however they survived. All of my friends who have moved away have expressed being considerably happier.
- Comment on If someone murdered me, how long would it take (if ever) until they catch the murderer? 4 months ago:
One of my grandfathers was murdered several years before I was born. He ran an off licence (small grocery store), when robbers took money and still used a shotgun to his face at point blank.
I believe it took around 20 years to catch one of them, with the accomplice having passed away from other causes years prior to the capture.
There have been a few attempted murders of friends/neighbours, over the years here, without anything coming of it.
I’m not within any profession to be providing a direct answer to your question, however in my mind I don’t believe there would be much effort provided for most people. I say this with some confidence, after seeing how much is provided to the rich in comparison to, well, everyone else… Rather sad realisations, ngl.

Once we were studying in biology class, when I was maybe 14 or 15, the teacher leaves the room and comes back with this sort of telly on the wheelie stand thing; he was trying to surprise us with an educational distraction from textbooks and, it was good on paper.
He must have forgotten to rewind the VHS or something, of a nature documentary, and the entire class got an immediate scene of two wildebeast trying to repopulate the Savannah by themselves.
I mean it did work, since it was a great distraction whilst he frantically Goku punched the Stop button as fast as he could, before pressing rewind.
