Right??! This was a 1 year old and a 2 year old for Pete’s sake!

Hmmm never heard this one. I am pretty sure my state doesn’t require inspection of the actual pads.

Yeah my state has gotten rid of inspections and it’s baffling to me.

I think it’s the “birthday” of when you signed up for your Lemmy account.
- Comment on How much spacing while stopped at a red light? 2 weeks ago:
I disagree. Mainly for the reason that if pedestrians are around, they might not know the lane your vehicle is in is a turn only. It’s just good etiquette and makes things safer.

This doesn’t super surprise me. Driving should be taken more seriously. You’re controlling a 2 ton death machine and it shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Oh is today your cake day? You have a slice next to your name.
- Comment on How much spacing while stopped at a red light? 2 weeks ago:
I believe this happens everywhere. I think maybe some people lack correct depth perception or something and maybe they are overcompensating for it? It is highly annoying though, I would agree.
Also: TURN SIGNALS, PEOPLE!!! USE THEM EVERY SINGLE TIME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. EVEN IF YOU THINK NO ONE IS LOOKING OR YOU’RE IN A TURN ONLY LANE. No excuses

But are you human though?
- Comment on Is it weird to juggle in the park? 2 months ago:
lol true as well! I personally am not that ambitious when it comes to juggling but I should be.
- Comment on Is it weird to juggle in the park? 2 months ago:
If they were farting glitter and juggling I would certainly be impressed.

This is why you can also maybe pick a spot where your back is facing most foot traffic and people can point and look all they want without distracting from your practice.
- Comment on Did the western world just suddenly go back to pretending wrestling is "real" for some reason? 2 months ago:
The only professional wrestling I pay attention to is the current US administration.

Whoa you just took it to another level. I think I like yours better!
- Comment on If you could add, remove, or alter one single bodily function, what would it be? 3 months ago:
Yeah not too many people in this thread have considered the “adds” it seems! Do you have an add?
- Comment on If you could add, remove, or alter one single bodily function, what would it be? 3 months ago:
Can I add wings? I wouldn’t mind being able to fly around!
- Comment on What movies have you watched this week? 5 months ago:
Josie and The Pussycats(2001)
Watched this one for the first time last night. Weird flick. I appreciated some of the satire but the jokes just were mostly just goofball. Interesting commentary on commercialism just could’ve been a lot funnier.
- Comment on people who drink, how long do your hangovers last? 5 months ago:
I have a system that works half the time 50% of the time. Still working on it.
- Comment on [deleted] 5 months ago:
I agree with you. I also take the investing approach to hopefully learn any new skills I can during employment that might be viable for my future career somewhere else.
- Comment on I made a short film! 5 months ago:
Neat! Cool film! How long did it take you to make it out of curiosity?
- Comment on Question about Windows OS when it finds a folder full of audio and sets the view properties as "music". Can this be stopped? 7 months ago:
Thanks friend. I’ll give this a go tonight. I feel like I tried a lot of these steps last night to no avail but maybe just user error. If I could delete the “music” view property template altogether I’d be a happy dude.

Yeah that’s something another commenter mentioned. Thanks for the math. I think it’s time to say goodbye to this old thing…
Maybe I’ll try this on my big fridge next. It’s getting close to 20 years old itself but functions fine.
- Comment on Replacing an old mini fridge 9 months ago:
Yeah that’s kinda what I am doing. If I’m using this energy monitor thing right, the fridge is on Day 9 and has used 20.32 kWhs
- Comment on Replacing an old mini fridge 9 months ago:
