Hydrogen is simply prototype fuel cell vehicles. Diesel blend, you mean the one used by semis? At every truck stop. Diesel engines can burn damn near anything though. Natural gas is only used by fleet vehicles purchased by duped (or bribed) government entities.

It’s just really cheap sugar because the US government heavily subsidizes corn farming. So naturally you get a huge surplus of corn. So much that it’s a cheaper sweetener than sugar. So cheap that it’s added to our (already cheap and subsidized) gasoline. And yes, sugar is addictive.

In North America, there have been several competing standards for years. Manufacturers finally seem to be coalescing around NACS (nee Tesla), but there are still a lot of cars which use CCS (two different types, none of which are the EU CCS) J1772, and CHAdeMO. Adapters abound, but it’s a mess.

Vehicle charging is such a complete worldwide shit show.
