One of the best anti-scam advice I was ever given was to always call the number I knew was valid like the one on my insurance card in this instance and verify that way.

The goodwill near me wants $21 for a pair of jeans that are very obviously used and fairly thin. A thicker pair of jeans is $15.99 at the Walmart 3 miles down the road…

For sure take the case if it’s affordable! It’ll look much nicer afterwards too

JB weld epoxy might be a good choice if you either don’t plan on replacing the screen again, or to recreate the holes and patch the cracks if you pull it all the way apart again. I did it to the back of a tv when the vesa screw mounts ripped and it held for another 5 years.

We moved to Colorado and 10 miles takes me about 15 minutes to cross the city we’re in, 30 in traffic. Where we grew up 10 miles around the city was 1-2 hours regardless of time of day (except maybe 2am). The country is just way too diverse for distance to be nearly as meaningful at transit time.

Google calendar events can be synced through the Apple calendar and at least for me by default have reminders set 30 minutes before. I have my account set up through the mail app, but to check thus do the following:
Go to Settings -> Calendar -> Accounts -> Gmail. Make sure it’s set to sync your calendar. There’s also the ability to add an account here. Then go back to the calendar app and find an event to check if reminders are set.

Outside of the kennel a reboot is not necessary you just restart the app/service it’s really not rocket science.

That is likely a part of it it’s slowly gotten better over time. I’ve also noticed if I stop watching YouTube for a bit it starts putting those back in. I guess it assumes people will get hooked off the watch then

That’s weird I watch almost entirely tech/news/commentary that is very much on the socialist bend yet have to block far right wing channels monthly from the recommendations.

A basic brother is like $20 more than the inkjets at this point, hard to justify anything else.

We moved to a brother last (b/w) for that exact reason. Run about 8k pages through it I think and it hasn’t once complained to me

I’d highly recommend not running your own server for tele-health the potential liability if your server were hacked is very high. Keeping compliance is and managing risk/liability would be a full time job by themselves for that.
