Nope makes sense, those are some pretty horrible things that people did. I can understand the poor taste you have left over in your mouth from that.
Can we switch to something positive? What creative sandbox games have you been trying/enjoying lately? I’d respond to your post if you dm me a link!

I’m sorry but many gaming communities are toxic, it has nothing to do with the game and everything to do with the troll farm forums and discord servers they setup with the express intent to troll.
I will also concede that maybe Garry is a fucking toxic ass person, and that might bring other toxic people, but its no worse than a COD lobby. I care about the game itself which is a successor to gmod. That sounds interesting to me and I would be willing to spend a fair amount of money for the game (of course not AAA prices or anything near that so we’ll see how that goes. This youtube video does bring up that there are trolls out there willing to defraud and stretch the truth to target Garry. That’s apparently fact.
Overall, game interesting, people who make game, less so. If I knew every head developer for any major game, I’m sure many of those people would fall into that category, cough cough blizzard. All I see here is Gary creating new, creative works which is ironically the exact opposite of the criticisms you had for gmod. I’m just trying to understand what your real core argument is and where I can go to validate that info before making a judgement on whether or not to buy a SANDBOX game of all games.

How many times can we do “jail, but death isn’t a way out” realistically?

That’s cool, nobodies going to give in to her persecution fetish tho lmao.
Just stop being an asshole, nobody believe your “on the premise of freedom” arguments, it’s super simple.
They’re like that kid in grade school who calls the male teacher mrs. such and such and think it’s still hilarious

What happened man I thought I just needed a new GPU man, surely Bethesda isn’t being run by a fuck wit.
Surely the last set of games and Bethesdas trajectory is solely the fault of the devs despite being across several game universes and still somehow pumping out the same shit you’ve been playing for 20 years now LOL.
Bottom of the barrel is all that’s left, sleep tight Bethesda, you had a good run

I can’t speak for your experiences or for the stats on muskies so I can’t draw anything officially meaningful, but from my experience in my network of friends there are certain groups (mostly business-centric males) who still think he’s a champion of free speech somehow.
I definitely think it’s starting to unravel a bit but there is definitely still plenty of people out there.
Like I say, people are always gonna bitch about stuff and people they don’t like because it’s easier to vent about that than to vent about our other frustrations which are simply put just way more complicated than continuing to say “bad man bad” (not to be confused as sarcasm, I simply chose to simplify this phrase for simplicity sake)

I love continuously pointing out that a public figure that so many refuse to believe has faults, does indeed have faults and is disliked by many for good reason.
People are gonna bitch about the stuff they don’t like, that’s why I’m cool with you also doing the same here.

Everyone can have their own Reddit
A Reddit has subreddits as well (communities inside)
Your account is made on and tied to a specific Reddit of your choice.
Your Reddit and its “stuff” can be seen by other Reddits normally.
However, if one Reddit decided they don’t fuck with your Reddit, they can remove it from their list of reddits they fuck with. This means that Reddit and their users won’t see your Reddit’s stuff anymore
It’s kinda like instead of having 1 cafeteria with a Bunch of lunch tables, we have a bunch of cafeterias, and each table can decide if they want to block out another cafeteria so they don’t have to hear them anymore. This doesn’t affect other cafeterias or who they do want to hear.
Hope this helped! Please correct me if I’m wrong as well
Otherwise, you can see all the stuff from any other Reddit so long as it is in your Reddit’s network.

There’s lots of stuff these days. Is Rust a game engine though? I’m familiar with the coding language but I wasn’t aware of any game engine stuff outside of making your own

Right, the business side of things again
Totally agree. If it were just a down to devs and players as in open source projects, it’d be a much different story
- Comment on Open source community figures out problems with performance in Starfield 1 year ago:
I think if they would just price the games more fairly and in accordance with how the game actually plays then that’d be a different story.

Oh I’m aware haha. However I do wanna point out how much of an improvement gpt4 is compared to 3.5. The improvements have been pretty awesome imo even if they do tweak the ways you have to word things.
Ik a lot of people bitch and moan about how bad it is but I’ve had nothing but luck after pivoting around and wording things differently, following different techniques. But I get not everyone likes adapting so much so it’s fine ig.
As far as coding goes though I’m not mad about it being ass. That’s prolly the last part we should get working real well considering the implications for abuse we face now without considering the ability for it to write infinite offspring… :)
Black mirror should do an entire season on AI imo I think it would fucking kill
