- Comment on Is it possible to have a "free speech" platform that simultaneously stops "hate speech"? 2 weeks ago:
They’d get laughed off the line unless they tried to fabricate evidence against me, which at that point is a different crime.
- Comment on Is it possible to have a "free speech" platform that simultaneously stops "hate speech"? 3 weeks ago:
Yes but one is words, and the other has a guaranteed tangible impact? I don’t think thats a viable analogy
- Comment on What gives you hope to keep going? 3 weeks ago:
That’s the most healthy way to have a positive impact on the world, imo. Thats what the human mind is best designed for.
- Comment on Those are so ugly. Who would even buy these... oh, right. 2 months ago:
Same, if I had to buy crocs I’d go with these.
But then again, I do love foam runners so I don’t know if that take is surprising.
- Comment on Is there a way to have a "watch later" or "favorite" list that works across different websites? 2 months ago:
A text file(s) with a list of links. Use LibRedirect or some other redirector extension to redirect the links to the instance of your choosing, just change the redirector when you want to change instances.
- Comment on It appenes that my email has gotten on the hands of some scammers with a botnet or something. What do I do? 2 months ago:
Make a new email, and use email aliasing (AnonAddy, Simplelogin) from now on. They can’t get a hold of an email that no one has.
- Comment on What started “weirdo” as a slur just recently? 3 months ago:
When a base of people can talk in circles for hours about why they don’t believe in proven facts, they have a hard time defending the fact their cult leaders isn’t simply weird as fuck.
- Comment on Illegal voting by noncitizens is rare, yet Republicans are making it a major issue this election 3 months ago:
You’re not wrong, but in what world is that even comparable (or relevant in conparison) to trying to overturn an election?
No matter what you think of Harris’ policies, shes the only actual candidate on the ballot.
- Comment on Why is Kamala Harris being held at such a higher standard than Trump this election? 3 months ago:
Because one is a traitor that attempted to overturn a lawful election result.
No matter what you think of Kamala, supporting Trump is a joke.
- Comment on The eagerness to grave dance on unpopular games has become a bad habit 3 months ago:
Thats a weird way to say the industry’s been releasing shitty games.

- Comment on Google Maps tests new pop-up ads that give you an unnecessary detour 5 months ago:
+1, also recommend StreetComplete alongside it. Makes it easy to add data to OSM, in many cases (parks, etc) this data can be made extremely detailed.
For instance, my first use case was adding house numbers around my neighborhood to OSM, because I couldn’t search for my address on Organic Maps
- Comment on Android Dialer App Recommendations? 5 months ago:
Hm, that is an interesting feature. The only similar solution I can think of is using something like Fossify Dialer (a fork of the now ad-ridden and proprietary Simple Dialer) and using T9 dialing could achieve a similar speed / memorization as a gesture.
You could definitely get good enough at T9 to at least call people without looking at the screen.
- Comment on Android Dialer App Recommendations? 5 months ago:
I use fossify dialer, not familiar with Drupe, but works well for me.

- Comment on Can it be within human nature to be inhumane? Conversely can it be "unhuman" or going against human nature to be genuinely humane? 11 months ago:
There is no definitive “human nature”, so I would say it is in some individuals nature to be inhumane.

That is not slavery, convict leasing was (worse) slavery.

- Comment on Why do people want games that are just stories without any gameplay, these days? Why not just watch a movie for that? 1 year ago:
A Way Out is a perfect example of this, it’s literally a co-op netflix show you have 0 control over except a choice between two endings (which of you wins a gunfight at the end)

I LOVE my Rockwell 6s, I would highly recommend. My Razorock Plissoft brush was cheap but works great! For soap, my recommendation is Stirling, although I havem’t tried many others.
- Comment on How should I find a good hair cut? 1 year ago:
If I see someone I know (especially someone I know to have issues with self esteem) trying something like a new haircut, or asking a girl out or really anything that presents a social risk, I gain respect for them.
Heed some advice from Nelson Mandela:
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
- Comment on How should I find a good hair cut? 1 year ago:
Personally, I would try to realize others might respect you more for confident behavior like trying new hairstyles instead of ridicule you if the hairstyle isn’t the best for a few weeks.

- Comment on What is the Israel thing going on? 1 year ago:
Ill give you my two cents:
Palestinians are justified in fighting Israel until that occupation is no longer considered a country, however, the Hamas are committing atrocities against civilians, leading many to refer to them as terrorists. The argument for the Hamas (not all Palestinians) is that Israel has committed atrocities against Palestinians for almost a century, while being backed by the most powerful countries in the world, and that retaliation from the Hamas.
Personally, I’m happy to see anyone resisting Israel, and don’t believe any political compromise (although preferable) will cut it except the dissolution of Israel.
- Comment on Why cant the Middle East just chill out? 1 year ago:
I don’t think the Middle East can chill out until Israel no longer exists.

I see the logic if someones asking about a violent offense, but hypothetical questions about crime are totally ok.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
Hypothetical questions about details of a nonviolent crime should be allowed.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
Shouldn’t be a rule, at least not one that broad. Ruins the fun imo.
- Comment on [deleted] 1 year ago:
That rule is retarded.
