  I’m also a motorcyclist (but hold the motor) and my experience is very similar to yours.

  I almost got hit a few weeks back by a car driver trying to turn right on red whilst on a fucking Facetime call, with the phone held up right in front of their face. If I hadn’t been in a rush I would have let them have an earful.

  Like, please don’t ever use your phone while driving, but if you absolutely have to be a despicable human being, can you at least look away from the screen when navigating through intersections??

  Have you tried changing your user agent string to Chrome? I know it can sometimes sidestep these types of “errors”. It can be changed manually through about:config under general.useragent.override, or there exists plenty of addons to switch it more easily.

  I usually watch shows/movies I see recommended by people (either online or in real life) rather than stuff recommended by an algorithm, but that’s just me. Whenever I’ve tried algorithmically suggested TV or movies, it’s kinda been bad (which is surprising considering I love Spotify’s suggestions)

  If you want pictures you could check out Stremio with the Torrentio addon, although I’d recommend also getting a Real-Debrid subscription for faster streaming.

  In a vacuum, saying “it’s okay to be white” is fine.

  Statements are never made in a vacuum, they’re made within society. They’re thus accompanied by context and realities, a ton of little nuances which all affect meaning.

  In society, posting (or agreeing with someone posting) “it’s okay to be white” repeated multiple times is racist.

  As per your last paragraph, who says we can only deal with one source of racism at a time? How does calling out racist dogwhistles negatively impact Jewish people or residents of Gaza?
