And hopefully it will continue IF you can keep the government for the people and keep billionaires, corporations, and authoritarians from having too much influence.

Indeed I meant castration. Remove the compulsions while leaving the person alive and not having taxpayers pay to jail or monitor them the rest of their lives.

Sterilization also seems like a good option

So many good things there, but their legal system seems wacko.
- Comment on If AI is so smart, how come it doesn't track the time and date? 2 weeks ago:
Current generative AI does not think. It is a word prediction engine with a huge database of websites and other data to pull from, and and natural language input and output.
Really being able to input and output fairly good language is the most impressive bit to me. But it doesn’t think or understand the words it outputs.
If most people on the internet kept posting Bugs Bunny was the first president, AI would say that too.

- Comment on Should people report AI music channels on Youtube? 3 weeks ago:
YouTube only sees revenue, and in fact are generating some of the AI themselves.

- Comment on Honestly impressive how pharmacies are able to find a new type of problem every time I go to pick up my meds 5 weeks ago:
I pick up prescriptions for people and CVS always fascinates me, they have like 6 people running around looking busy but somehow very few prescriptions are being filled.

Just straggle towards the back and pick up some fallen gear, it will be fine.
- Comment on Driving game poll 1 month ago:
I very often just drive around in Forza Horizon listening to my own music, so another game like that would be fun sometimes if the driving model was good and the map was good and detailed. But I also like to spend time on races and challenges in Forza Horizon, that option is very nice. So I think driving only with no goals would get boring.

- Comment on Why do some people with college degrees and an education, still act so fucking stupid? 2 months ago:
People can cheat or learn to just memorize and repeat information without really accepting or retaining it. As the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make a drink.
- Comment on How does one who doesn’t have a ‘home’ choose their team? 2 months ago:
Yeah the players generally aren’t from the city either so it’s all inaccurate to begin with.

Nothing is hacker proof especially not EVs that are being developed at a breakneck pace to try and beat the competition. When you move fast and break stuff to get your product working well enough to sell, security is low on the priority list. Considering Teslas can’t even detect a fire truck parked on the road, that will give you a clue as to the state of their software.
