Ticketmaster is scalping too, while gathering everyone’s personal data. Gonna be great for the company valuation.
- Comment on Luanti (aka Minetest) removed from Google Play due to baseless AI copyright notice 2 days ago:
I have F-Droid and it’s good. I tried Aurora Store but it didn’t seem to have a search function, just lists of a few apps from random categories. Almost reminded me of browsing Netflix.

This is what I’m running into trying to deGoogle, a lot of apps seem to just be on Google Play or a sketchy APK mirror site.

I don’t want an extended preview, I just want a PC release. Gotta dodge spoilers for a year or two. That’s not gonna work.
- Comment on Every payment option has a fee 3 days ago:
It’s like 3%, which I don’t love but I like better than dealing with cash or checks.
- Comment on The prices of these NFL games…nope. 5 days ago:
I might go if you pay me $50 and drop me off at the entrance.

Hello fellow Waluigi
- Comment on Epic Games Store will get a Linux version sometime "soon" 2 weeks ago:
A year or so ago they added a cart so you could check out with more than one item at a time. That’s about it.
- Comment on How come when paying cash for gas, it is not like a coke machine where you can insert your money? And when it hits that limit it clicks off? 2 weeks ago:
It was tried back in the late 1970s or early 1980s. There were pumps where you sat a dollar bill onto a tray and pushed it into the pump, one at a time. That was back when you couldn’t usually buy gas 24 hours a day and gas was less than $1 a gallon. I’m guessing potential drawbacks were fake money, and cash money sitting in the pumps waiting for thieves.
- Comment on Battle.net's discord permissions 2 weeks ago:
I’m just disappointed that people are still on Discord after all their global age verification crap.
- Comment on 2 weeks ago:
People don’t talk about it because it’s a very sensitive subject, but apparently very difficult for a large percentage of the population. :(
- Comment on When do we riot? 3 weeks ago:
We can govern the relatively few billionaires or try to govern the behavior of billions of people. I think the needs of the many should outweigh the greed of the few billionaires.
- Comment on Netflix is garbage 4 weeks ago:
Stranger Things finally ended and the price for no ads went over $20 per month. That’s what made me finally quit.
- Comment on Do americans living in Red States really despise american living in Blue States? 4 weeks ago:
Most Fox News consumers, yes.
- Comment on Do you consider GTA VI overpriced? 4 weeks ago:
We don’t even know how it plays yet. We know almost nothing.
If it’s a typical GTA game, yes over priced.
If it does something amazing maybe the price is justified. But I can’t think of many games that would qualify.

You already won vs Sony!
- Comment on Republicans head home for the summer after a string of losses in Congress 5 weeks ago:
And they spend most of the afternoon fundraising and with lobbyists. The clever ones start their reelection campaign immediately after getting elected.
- Comment on The Republican Party used to be very big on smaller government. What caused them to turn into the party of big government over reach? When did it happen? 5 weeks ago:
They apparently only want small government for Democrats and Democrat policies. Or it’s a campaign lie, like being a “fiscal conservative.”

- Comment on PlayStation 3 emulator RPCS3 reaches a new milestone: 75% of all PS3 games are now playable on PC 1 month ago:
The fat PS3 was a great deal because it could natively play PS2 games as well. I haven’t been into consoles since the fat PS3, they have all gotten worse and worse IMO.

Maybe I don’t need to bother fixing my PS3.
- Comment on US Government Official refuses to answer basic question 1 month ago:
That’s one of the most frustrating parts about all this, so few people are rational, so few people have standards or honor.
- Comment on 1 month ago:
It is of course a running joke, other than Tammy 2 there is no reason to hate libraries so much. Do you think viewers took it seriously?
- Comment on [Drawn Out] Rockstar & Sony Think You're Stupid 1 month ago:
There are just so many potential consumers, even when a high-profile product is shitty enough people still don’t know, don’t care, or have FOMO that they still buy it.
- Comment on Kernel Anti-Cheat Is an Overreach 1 month ago:
More enshittification, pvp gaming is going in a direction I won’t go. Maybe if I had a dedicated computer for it, but there are no games that are worth it to me right now.

It’s free energy that just needs captured. That’s what they hate, because fossil fuels are so tied into the economy and government.
