My county is installing fiber and more fiber over and over down most of the rural county roads. It has been going on for years now. And now we have 3 data centers being built thanks to our wonderful county board.

Cash is the only safe answer. Everything else can be reversed or manipulated. $6000 cash can fit in a letter envelope. I sold a car for $8000 and received cash.
If you can get the item back on a pallet, strapped down, it can likely be shipped for $400 or so by companies like Estes. They would need to be able to get a big truck with a liftgate near the item and roll a pallet jack on a smooth surfaxe like concrete. I would make the buyer arrange their own shipping though, let the liability be on them.

Maybe the answer is somewhere in the middle, because a person with clear evidence they did not do what they are accused of should not need a lawyer to be allowed to present that evidence in court to defend themselves.

My friend got an example of this recently in small town court. He went to court without a lawyer for what should have been a simple case and the judge chewed him out for not having a lawyer. The legal system is there to support the legal system. They want us to hire lawyers and to delay things as much as possible to keep the billable hours high.

I have F-Droid and it’s good. I tried Aurora Store but it didn’t seem to have a search function, just lists of a few apps from random categories. Almost reminded me of browsing Netflix.

It was tried back in the late 1970s or early 1980s. There were pumps where you sat a dollar bill onto a tray and pushed it into the pump, one at a time. That was back when you couldn’t usually buy gas 24 hours a day and gas was less than $1 a gallon. I’m guessing potential drawbacks were fake money, and cash money sitting in the pumps waiting for thieves.
