The only reason to close the sauce like this is if you’re trying to hide something. What are they doing in there that they don’t want us to see? This is why I don’t use closed sauce servings, anything could be in there and I would have no idea, FOSS (fragrant open sauce servings) are much more ethical and natural to human nature

Yep! The would use a saw that often had a blade made of string, like a bow, but would but gritty, sandy water in the hole they were cutting to slowly grind it away. I think they would also use “dull” copper saws (don’t quote me on that one though)
