• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨Anon experiences a glitch⁩ ⁨⁨1⁩ ⁨week⁩ ago⁩:

That’s what books often do in dreams. Brain can’t really keep lots of text straight, so it’s a common sign that you’re dreaming.

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨Anon fears The Hand⁩ ⁨⁨2⁩ ⁨weeks⁩ ago⁩:

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨Anon tries dating apps⁩ ⁨⁨2⁩ ⁨weeks⁩ ago⁩:

I know this sounds bad, but I think it really is that bad: it’s code for you need to be fit and have money for trips abroad. It’s supposed to drive away the people who dislike those ideas.

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨PlayStation Is Deleting 551 Movies From Customers’ Accounts, Reminding Us Nothing Digital Is Ever Truly Ours⁩ ⁨⁨3⁩ ⁨months⁩ ago⁩:

Dead digital data is in fact the only thing that can be perfectly preserved as long as a sufficient number of copies exist and are replicated before the media rots.

Along with backups, keep checksums and check for bit rot regularly!

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨What was the internet like before Y2K happened ?⁩ ⁨⁨4⁩ ⁨months⁩ ago⁩:

It was a lot of noise about y2k happening. Then the particular new year came and y2k didn’t happen. Then life went on.

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨Cubieboard users abandoned? Trying to find support docs.⁩ ⁨⁨4⁩ ⁨months⁩ ago⁩:

I’ll mention armbian.com/boards/cubietruck as that’s probably the best SW source for most boards. No idea if hw docs were stashed by someone.

• ⁨Comment⁩ on ⁨Gonna be straight forward, how is Donald Trump not considered a Global/Donestic Terrorist?⁩ ⁨⁨4⁩ ⁨months⁩ ago⁩:

Things like that don’t matter much when you’re a dictator.
