And then you should start to experiment with science!
- Comment on Is there a website that can tell you the new names to I guess "classify" people? Like the R word, or the N word or skin color or nationaility? For ex. Is African American still acceptable and so forth 2 days ago:
I heard about that from the unmaking autism book. I think the person d applies more your two things that aren’t party of who you are like autistic vs being in the foster care system. Since both my sons came to us through the system it was a easy example for them. They understood the difference between a foster child and a child in foster care.

I think those expert programs get labeled as ai anyway. Then the laundry thinks they can just ask any llm “how do I cure cancer”

Interesting teardown, if that large battery only protected by thin plastic? I’d be a bit concerned that a fast enough projector like a BBC gun could penetrate the battery and start a fire. I mean someone could drive by and for from their car without being seen! Seams like an issue they should really address.

True they are. Some of the monarch habitats are threatened, the one in Santa Barbara/Goleta has greatly been reduced over the years.
I too remember great bug swarms growing up in a desert area. Caterpillars covering the road making popping noises as you drove over them. And I hadn’t thought of bugs on cars in a long time so you do make a good point.

I saw fireflies on the 4th, I even managed to pick one up.and we’ve got humming birds in our backyard. Humming birds and firefly’s are gone?

As an insider I think you are right. We seam to have this cultural competition to see who can claim be the most traumatized.

I’ve been a profession Dev for 20+ years. I generally agree with you, but I have experienced what appears to be non-deterministic behavior. One room me it was a multi threaded algorithm and would return slightly different results each time. My theory for mult threaded apps is an environment effects each thread differently. What other tasks the user is doing effected the thread execution order and would give different results based on which thread finished.
While I still think the orocess is deterministic, but with enough factors it becomes indistinguishable from non-deterministic.

You can rent movies and games from the library too! It’s totally worth it.

That’s probably why they are attaching them. Also libraries promote learning.

I knew the crypto term only, there desire to change the name makes sense. Still the nonce’s responsibility to pay for the work done.

Flip the question, would the person that made the name change be willing to sour the relationship? Kind of sound like they are.

Written contacts aren’t the most binding forms. Prior behavior and how other people are treated is more binding. If 10 people sign a contract, and it’s only enforced on one person, the written contact isn’t binding.

If anything, it’s rapid exit from the portal would cause an increase in pressure on the top of the cube, causing it to stay in place. The cube still isn’t moving regardless of the velocity relative to the moving platform.
At what point in time would the cube start moving away from the platform it’s sitting on, and what forces act on the cube?
- Comment on Which is it Lemmy? 3 weeks ago:
You’d make a horrible scientist.
- Comment on Which is it Lemmy? 3 weeks ago:
But I’m this case the cube has no speed, so it wouldn’t just suddenly start moving.

Of you did they work they requested, it’s the cost of renaming the bands kind of their problem and not yours? This you should still get paid for the work you did.
- Comment on 4 weeks ago:
So it’s like a lever, you aren’t just magically getting more volume at the same speed without more power, it just slows down when interacting with the outside air, ie conservation of momentum
- Comment on 4 weeks ago:
The whole air moves faster over the top than the bottom, why would it do that? It’s not like the on the top of the wing and the bottom of the wing are connected by magic.
