It’s not federated on PieFed.social because NSFW, I guess it’s the same on other servers. Make 2 accounts for that, one wherever you want, and the other one on fedinsfw.

A stranger is sending you free money? That’s a scam.

Did you write that comment with ChatGPT? Because it sucks.
- Comment on I made a full Ai Movie Can y'all Review it 5 days ago:
AI is slop by definition. Also it’s bad.
- Comment on Sony 5 days ago:
I hate AI and all that shit, but I have heard a lot of horror stories from developers who worked on “retro” gaming systems (from the Megadrive/Genesis to the Jaguar). I admire them for all the work they did because it was hard to code, but there are a fuckton of bugs that were sold during the good old days, and no one noticed what was happening because those bugs were never found.
- Comment on Sony 6 days ago:
Shitty copy pasta with AI-generated picture that forgets that software is patched all the time compared to movies and music.
I hate streaming more than anyone, but that sloppy comparison sucks.

Even “long coffee” is darker than this. I guess it’s 25-33% coffee. Infuriating indeed.
- Comment on If it were suddenly revealed that a significant number of questions posted in this comm were ai bots would that bother you? 1 week ago:
Yes because I’m not a guinea pig. But I’m sure it already happens and we’re doomed anyway.

For curly hair: you have curly hair, or wavy hair and want more curls.

I remember that one, and played a demo on iOS. I’ll have to buy it now.

People say Google shows you the results and only need confirmation from humans. The loop happened to me too but I’m sure it was a mix of having a wrong browser or strange IP address.
- Comment on Toothbrush heads 2 weeks ago:
I guess the other guy answered in a wrong thread. What is true is that most embedded systems I have worked on used C++. Could be the same for those electric toothbrushes.
- Comment on For those who are super against to AI/LLM today. What was the catalyst how did you reach to this point? If you have the power to change our current situation what would you do. 2 weeks ago:
It’s destroying software because juniors are no longer using their brain to learn.
It’s destroying intelligence because most people will use it as an external brain.
- Comment on Toothbrush heads 2 weeks ago:
He said that the toothbrush should be developed in C++, which it probably is already.

You’re describing people who do sports at work during lunch. Are you sure it’s not restricted to this type of people? I have seen them for a very long time.
- Comment on What do you think about the dead internet theory? 2 weeks ago:
I’m not a bot and I don’t believe you are one. OTOH, AI bots sure are polluting the internet, but I haven’t interacted with one except for the annoying merge requests on GitHub.

Laziness because it is literally their job. I’ve done it a hundred times and I have no other explanation.

- Comment on I'm a dev who has been working on my game for 2 years and my game title got stolen on Steam and they plan to release before I do. What should I do? 3 weeks ago:
Yes, too late to change the name, but it’s a stupid idea, you have way more momentum and hype than the other guy. Don’t bother about him.

I guess it’s too late to change the name of the game, but when you think about it, the “clone” is a shitty game that won’t get a lot of downloads if any. I’m only a gamer, but your whole Steam page is way more enticing.
You could create a small website with links to the Steam page (and Bluesky and Twitter…) as a reference. The other guy won’t waste more time on his project. I saw your Posts history on Lemmy, and you have a lot of upvotes and conversations about that game, it’s something that the clone guy cannot reproduce easily, he would be roasted very fast if he tried that.
- Comment on Can someone help me get Pygame working? 3 weeks ago:
I would use
uvand install Pygame in a virtual environment. Link: https://docs.astral.sh/uv/I never install packages with apt, it’s always clunky. And it’s worse when you have to hack the sys.path.

- Comment on How can I earn 100$ (before tax) in 24 hours? 4 weeks ago:
I was reluctant to post that because it’s a bit off-topic but it’s true. It’s the kind of businessman who read a few books on HTML and sold his crap to local people.
A friend of mine has one web site with that guy (and that’s how I discovered the scam), and I told him I would take care of it for the price of the hosting ($10 + domain name and stuff every month instead of $1600), but anyone can do that if they have the guts and/or balls and/or lack of empathy to contact and scam people.
- Comment on How can I earn 100$ (before tax) in 24 hours? 4 weeks ago:
If you are an average web developer, here is a scam that I discovered recently:
There is one guy who makes the shittiest web sites for local communities, cities, or nonprofits. The kind of web site that contains a few articles or piece of news. This asshole charges each client up to $2000 a month for “maintenance” which is mostly “add an article every 6 months.”
It’s the kind of job that you could do with any blog subscription (like WordPress or Ghost) for $20 a month, and you could charge it $500 or less. 1 client, $500 every month for five minutes of work, forever.
If you can convince people that your method is cheaper and better, you could be a billionaire overnight.

3 comments and no post is weird. Modding 50 communities feels like spam, or looks like reddit.

Do you have a link? While “spam” is not a problem yet on Lemmy, I agree that we have weird users sometimes.
