What about Daniel you ponderous fuckhead? What about the grand jury in Texas that failed to indict the drunk MAGAt that murdered his daughter? Stupid fuckhead acting like this proves our legal system isn’t fucked when it just proves the administration is incompetent and that you’re the type of incredibly sad fuck that that holds into internet arguments. Jesus I hope I’ve been living rent free in your sad little mind. What a pitiful little bitch. Like how sad is your life bro? Because fucking hell that’s sad. Still can’t read either. Dumb fuckin lemmings. You people make reddit look reasonable and informed.

Yes, and you’re still overestimating its impact on weight gain vs caloric intake. Your metabolism isn’t special.
- Comment on Anon is 23 2 days ago:
Yes but unless you’re a statistical outlier that still won’t make a significant difference to counting calories. When it comes to gaining or losing weight yes it is purely calorie in calorie out. The difference in caloric maintenance between an active lifestyle and a sedentary one is 4 to 6 hundred kcal. That’s a bowl of cereal. Your metabolism has little overall impact.
- Comment on Anon is 23 2 days ago:
I don’t think that’s how that works. It’s all calorie in calorie out, and once acclimated to a new routine most people within normal activity levels settle in burning around 2000kcal a day, that’s sedentary and active people. Metabolism has way less impact than most people think and outside of heavy labor or semipro athlete you’re probably settling in around that 2000kcal maintenance level. Unless you were doing strenuous labor or working out daily your maintenance level probably didn’t change that much.

So oxygen in the atmosphere is relatively new geologically speaking, and oxygen is incredibly reactive, it oxidizes things which is a fancy way of saying it dissolves things slowly. It pretty well killed most things that weren’t already equipped to either process or release oxygen as waste. We’re good at dealing with it but we’re pretty sensitive to the exact mixture of air (which is mostly nitrogen anyway) and we’re likely past a point of no return for cascading runaway effects changing that mixture. That’ll kill most air breathers. The greenhouse runaway effect will acidify the oceans, killing most ocean life. The increased energy in the system from the greenhouse effect causes continent-wide superstorms that literally scour the face of the earth into something unrecognizable. Most of what survived before won’t survive that.
So yeah, earth will move on and there will likely still be some form of life on it in a few thousand years. But it won’t be us, or anything like us, and it never will be again. We are this planets only shot at producing space-faring life.

It’s mostly just that in a lot of places you either need the right last name or be close with someone with the right last name to get an apprenticeship.
- Comment on Anon is 23 2 days ago:
You probably weren’t burning significantly more calories. What happened is you likely started eating or drinking more calories at your desk where before you were too busy. It’s like a thirty minute jog to work off an oreo, it’s unlikely you were actually burning that many more calories. But then most people still think exercise and metabolism have a lot of control over your weight when it’s almost exclusively how much you’re eating and drinking. Nobody is breaking the laws of thermodynamics.
- Comment on Anon is 23 2 days ago:
It’s actually quite difficult to get into a well paying trade, all the apprenticeship programs run on nepotism and then you usually still need to go into business for yourself to actually make a living, and they’re all absolutely saturated since they started pushing trades on millennials and z twenty years ago. Trades are the same gamble as conventional college anymore. There just aren’t any available jobs.

The planet isn’t going to “recover”. We’re fundamentally changing the atmosphere, and it’ll never go back. The planet will be fine, some forms of life will go on, but the planet will not settle back into something hospitable to current complex life.

It got a lot better. Then they changed the seasons and it started getting worse. Around the time they added becoming a ghoul for player characters it was more or less necessary to have their subscription service if you didn’t want to deal with a lot of arbitrary bullshit that was designed to force you to buy the subscription. You basically couldn’t get all the season rewards without it. All that aside it was surprisingly fun and adds a lot of good lore. You can play it more or less like a single player game and when I still played old timer high level characters would often drop gear and resources for new players, it was the most genuinely pleasant online community I’ve ever experienced.

The purpose of these pours is to tell your customers in no uncertain terms that they’re not fuckin welcome. I’m firmly with the old bastard on this one, that pour is fuckin offensive. And it makes your beer taste like shit.

How it’s supposed to work but we’ve clearly passed that point. If the US legal system functioned Trump wouldn’t have been eligible to run, because he wasn’t. They’ve been making up their own rules without any legal consequence of substance for twenty fucking years, give your fucking balls a tug.
