  It varies dramatically for different types of wine, even within the broad categories (red, white, rosé, etc.). Some wines are grapier and will be reminiscent of juice you’ve had. Others are further away from that. Invariably they will taste different if you’ve never had wine before, even moreso if you’ve not had alcohol.

  If you are interested in wine for the experience, I’d recommend situations where it’s well-paired with food. The best wine I’ve ever drank has been with good food that complemented it.

  I hope this backfires so hard and completely destroys their brand image. We really need to strengthen advertising laws so that, by the time the models can reliably produce visuals that look much better than the real food, it’s illegal and has severe penalties. At least for now this pizza looks wonky as hell.

  It’s just the current iteration of phone callback culture from the landline era. People had strong opinions about if you should call back dates or friends immediately or wait until the next day. The expectation of immediate response is a newer phenomenon.

  That’s not really how trials for treatments like this work. The non-experimental groups would get standard of care/a comparator which would be used to determine efficacy. It would be unethical to give sugar pills to patients with advanced NSCLC.

  I’m not sure it’s worth putting a ton of energy into trying to convince Trump voters. Many of them only come to their senses once they are personally affected by his policies.

  There needs to be focus on turning out the majority of Americans who dislike Trump. That has to be done with exciting candidates who focus on our systemic problems and actually want to change things. There’s no amount of window dressing and virtue signaling you can hang of corporatists to make people enthusiastic. They must want to vote for the candidate, not just find them more tolerable.

  Unfortunately several parts do not hold up when you remove the novelty and temporal context. The whole game was mind blowing when it was new; I very much enjoyed it then. On a subsequent playthrough years later, there were definitely parts that just did not hold up. I used the console liberally at times because I couldn’t be bothered to do them for real.

  I think it’s the consequence of bringing a truly revolutionary game to market with limited resources. There are clearly portions that exist to showcase the cool shit they could do rather than to drive the narrative or be genuinely fun.

  CDPR spent the time fixing CP2077 and then released a killer DLC, putting the entire game on sale a ton along the way. They also listened and reconfigured entirely some of the clunky parts of gameplay/RPG elements.
