Mental addiction I can describe as an internal reminder that recalls you how good you felt when you consumed drugs. Yes, you can ignore but it acts like Google alerts showing on your phone frequently and annoying you with phrases like “eat it, come on” or “you will feel so good, take them and relax”.
Physical addiction is worse since your body got so adapted to drugs that it refuses to properly function. Metaphorically, not only you have constant Google alerts telling you to consume drugs, your phone literally starts lagging, glitching and etc. So drugs for you are as issential as an inhaler for asthmatic.

Yes, they do. I haven’t heard about a human being that would consume drugs and will not gain an addiction to them over time.

With root access enabled, you technically turn your Android file system back into Linux like. And this allows you to view and modify personal data of any app. So not only you can cheat in games, you are also capable of messing up with licensed software, bank apps and other sensitive content.
And this is actually fun how you cannot use YOUR personal phone on 100% without being limited from software side.

The problem with Linux for the government is that it has a unique ability for being easily modified by users. You sure can force some very popular distros to follow these laws but you cannot force less popular distros made by enthusiasts to comply. Especially if those enthusiasts live not in your country.

It applies to each comunity and instance separately. Some instances(like Lemmy.ml) not only allow this, but their admins do similar things actively. So, it writing Nazi comments is against policies of comunity and/or instance, this user most likely will be punished. Otherwise, you may be punished for interfering with Nazi doing its stuff in Nazi place.

There is no technical limitation to this. Only a software limitation. More specifically, as I suggest, the communications protocols and their interpretations on different platforms across the Fediverse. I suppose, that since this feature was not properly implemented from the start, right now its implementation is far more complicated due to large amount of existing content and separated servers. Thus, implementing such update requires a lot of willpower, free time, skills and coordination across the Fediverse to avoid data loss. This is my opinion and it may be incorrect since I do not participate in development of the Fediverse.
