It began as a way to “secure” having your own babies. “I take care of all your needs and in exchange you only fuck with me so all your children are mine”. That’s why cheating wasn’t seen as a problem for men but it was for married women.

Except in the Fediverse we can block instances. So one from Reddit or Meta is just a click away from being banned.

He called himself communist. That doesn’t mean he was it.
- Comment on How do you explain protocol to a 5 year old ? 1 week ago:
A protocol is just the rules to do something. Doesn’t matter of it’s a human language, a machine language, cleaning a room, driving a car, …

- Comment on Alpha AF 2 weeks ago:
I’ve heard something about the writers complaining that writing got more difficult because life was getting even weirder than the series or something like that.

A clear example was shown when USAID goods to help starving kids in the Middle East were burn. Or the supermarkets destroying food that is “not marketable”.

If the benefits of a trade is on the back of the worker then it’s not a trade. They should rise the price so they can pay enough.

So they send every operative to one call and let the rest of the area without support if something happens. Haven’t they seen Die Hard 3?
- Comment on If something could rotate infinitely after being initially pushed, would the initial push disqualify it from being classed as perpetual motion? 4 weeks ago:
I know it’s not a “physical collision”. But the gravity “redesigns” both galaxies and some objects can be accelerated beyond the scape velocity of the galaxies combined.
- Comment on If something could rotate infinitely after being initially pushed, would the initial push disqualify it from being classed as perpetual motion? 4 weeks ago:
Why not? When two galaxies collide some rocks can get enough speed to escape.
- Comment on How do I type an apostrophe and use print screen on a European Spanish keyboard? 4 weeks ago:
That keyboard should come with a manual. Doesn’t it say what do you have to press?

Maybe they could add online radios with the option of including your preferred URLs. You could listen to the news one day and 80s music another day or whatever style you want.

If a rock is moving between galaxies, what would make it stop?
- Comment on If something could rotate infinitely after being initially pushed, would the initial push disqualify it from being classed as perpetual motion? 5 weeks ago:
If you think about it, when the universe cools down, maybe some rocks will fly forever without hitting anything.

- Comment on Why is society at large okay with euthanasia for pets but not for humans? 1 month ago:
Short answer: religion.
“Only God can take a life”… except when it an heretic, a non believer, a sinner, …
Killing believers = sin
Killing non believers = " the work of God”
And pets are animals and “you can do as you please”.
- Comment on Is there a way I can become Baptized a Catholic without going to school or memorizing all the saints I am 37? Always thought it would be an honor to be Catholic. Like being knighted. 1 month ago:
If you want it because you have faith in that, go on. If it’s just because “it feels correct” or anything other than genuine faith, you shouldn’t do that.

Anarchosyndicalism, not anarchocapitalism (it’s funny the the autocorrect changes this to avariciousness). The former is left wing. The other is Ayn Rand.
